Nice to see the Cs wake up and play well to finish this off. Brown looked great in the 2nd half after too much iffy iso in the 1st.

Point differential is not indicative of this game, but we?ll take it. If CHI wins tonight, then we just need CLE to beat ATL, and we are in to the tournament. We care about that, right?

Winning ugly, but I will take it. TP?s!
Strangest game of the season so far. Tatum shot poorly and White did too until he got it going in the 4th. Tillman had some decent minutes defensively and on the boards. Kornet was surprisingly good.

Glad they won.  Unfortunately one step closer to Vegas.

Good to see Jaylen taking and making a few midrange.  Last year he was money, unconscious from mid - has seemed less automatic this year.  Tatum did another three feet from the hoop kick-out. Just irritates me. That close take it in.  That?s the philosophy of love for the three at the expense of pretty high likelihood of getting points near the hoop.

So with Chicago crushing Atlanta, we basically move on if we beat the Bulls?  Assuming the Hawks don't beat Cleveland handily?

If you care about hanging banners and repeating and possibly 3peating (June banners + IST banner) then yes got to care about that!!

If the Fakers can hang a banner for winning the IST, so can we. It doesn't have to be a full size banner, half size will do :police:

I know the IST isn?t ?real?, but it was pretty annoying hearing Lakers fans saying they had 17 1/2 championships to our 17 last year (before we blew everyone away in the playoffs).

That of course doesn?t take into account that the Los Angeles Lakers only have 12, but that?s another argument.

I of course don?t count the IST as .5 championships, but it would just feel better to shut them up completely.

Good win with Horford out.  But both teams were about 25% from 3.  The key was Turnovers and ORebs, again.  BOS was +13 points off TO and +2 2nd chance pts.  So +15 pts overall in terms of extra possession points.  That is more what it should be.  We are not going to out OReb (2nd chance points) very many teams, especially with Porzingis and Horford out, but we should not lose the points off turnovers battle, and generally we should win that with our level of defense that we can play when we want to.

64% from 2, 24% from 3.  That is 1.28 pts/2PA and 0.72 pts/3PA.  I don't think you need to be an analytics genius to see which shot you should be taking more of.

I agree 100% should be driving and also making more use of a host of excellent midrange shooters. But in terms of  analytics my guess is they count on 38plus% rather than 24% when they?re looking at their best bang.

Agree, this one game was not representative, but on the season, 57% on 2s (1.14 pts/2PA) and 37% from 3 (1.11 pts/3PA).  Plus, I don't know how to figure this but my guess is you get more 2nd chance points off 2PA, more fouls, and fewer fast break attempts by the other team.  Maybe more TOs with 2PA.

I am not saying don't take 3s.  Just looking for more balance.
