Getting him back around Christmas time would be ideal. We have the Sixers Christmas Day, then Pacers two games in a row, and then to start the New Year we have a 4-game West Coast trip (MIN, HOU, OKC, DEN).

Our late November to December schedule though is pretty easy. I wouldn't rush him back

christmas nah cant wait till then :o

Boston Celtics center Kristaps Porzingis plans to make his season debut tonight against the Los Angeles Clippers, sources tell ESPN. Porzingis returns five months after undergoing foot surgery.

This is game 18.  That means there are 65 games remaining (including tonight).  Assuming no back to back games for Porzingis, that is still probably 60 games or so if he plays regularly from now to the end of the regular season.  Since missing the entire 2018-19 season, he has averaged about 55 games per season, with a high of 65 games with WAS in 2022-23.

He played 57 regular season games and 7 playoff games last season.

I would try to keep him under 50 regular season games.  His body is just not likely to hold up.

You should leverage this into a lucrative side gig as an "insider".  Set up a podcast.

More than excited to see KP back on the court...!

How many of us couple the excitement of his return with the worry that the earlier he comes back the sooner he'll be sidelined?

And just remember, if you're ever wrong just blame it on the deal falling through (or a setback if it's injury related). That way you aren't wrong, reality is
I'm bitter.

Just rest him on all b2b games and games against fodder opponents AKA teams we should be winning with ease.

Well he's back earlier than i thought he would be. He'll probably be on a minutes limit and probably won't play back to backs, but hopefully he can stay healthy.

Thus far in his Celtics career he's played 64 out of 118 possible games (regular and post season). That's about 54% of possible games played.

I'm sure he'll have his minutes watched and won't play any back to backs.
