Injury Report update:

Kristaps Porzingis has reached the next phase in his recovery. As part of his rehab, Porzingis and Xavier Tillman will be assigned to the @MaineCeltics for practice.

Following practice, they will be recalled and Porzingis will ramp up his workload.

Hopefully that means we see KP play in the next couple of weeks.

Apparently the Maine Celtics are practicing at the Auerbach center, and he'll be immediately recalled to Boston as soon as practice is over.

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

According to Karalis, they stayed local:

The Celtics are assigning Kristaps Porzingis and Xavier Tillman to Maine for today's practice, which will be held at the Auerbach Center. They will be recalled to the Celtics after the practice. This is being characterized as "the next phase" of Porzingis' rehab plan

Sounds like it is just a chance to get some extra practice in.  They never traveled to Maine, they were just assigned to the affiliate franchise for an afternoon.

I think Karalis also said that they wanted someone that can muscle him.

It has actually been warm  and sunny quite a bit here lately. In the 50's again today, very pleasant. The climate here is changing rapidly.

It's a long season, keeping him on ice 'til January would be just fine with me.

I?m ok with that. At least bring him back slowly. Limit minutes for a while. No back to back.  He?s definitely going to be hurt again before the playoffs. It?s all about how bad, how long.

No reason to bring him back next week, given the fairly light schedule.

Getting him back around Christmas time would be ideal. We have the Sixers Christmas Day, then Pacers two games in a row, and then to start the New Year we have a 4-game West Coast trip (MIN, HOU, OKC, DEN).

Our late November to December schedule though is pretty easy. I wouldn't rush him back
