I think they liked JB's aggressiveness and attacking more.

Queta is turning into a nice piece for us. That was my hope for him, a Hauser-like development for us where he turns into a really nice 8th or 9th guy. And they need it with Horford retiring soon.

Agreed, I really like Queta and he fills an important need for this team.
Just don't bury Tillman on the bench because he had a couple of bad games, we need him too.

Tatum got a bunch of FTs at the end from the Grant open field tackle and the Lamelo 3pt foul. I just thought it was funny statistically. I didn?t absolutely love either of them this game, but did appreciate JB taking advantage of the Lamelo matchup and overpowering him

Tatum was absent in the 2nd half until he shot all those free throws, and even that had more to do with the lack of intelligence by the Hornets; Jaylen was being aggressive all game, which is what you should do against a bad defense

Made a few threes. Unfortunately, the Hornets went on a run while he was in the game. Not all his fault though.

Still good minutes and you can definitely see development. Love seeing Mazz get him some time early in the season.

So it looks like one of Queta or Kornet should be on the floor most of the time (I don't like Tillman as the lone big).  And then bring in Tillman as the 2nd big.  Here is my rotation

Just Kornet             12 min
Just Tillman             Not Used

Wow, Tillman ended up with 0 minutes.  It was one big all the way.  Kornet with 24 minutes (+16), Queta with 24 minutes (-1).  Walsh ended up with 6 productive minutes (6 points, +6).  I wonder why they sat Tillman.  He has been injured a lot in his career,  I wonder if this is minutes management or just a reaction to match ups.

It is funny that back in the day, McHale or Laimbeer would have done this and no one would have blinked an eye.  I am not saying that was better, Tatum is a star, a face of the league, and he could have been seriously injured.  They need to cut this out of the game, just reflecting on how the game has evolved.

I give Tatum credit, he just got up and walked to the line.  Brown seems to be the first guy in for situations like this.  He is evolving into that "I got your back" guy on the team.  I like that too.

I keep forgetting I can post now. LOL.  I'm glad the C's won.  Everyone who plays them will be up for that game.  I'm not sure what is going on in the first half but the defense is just not there.  The C's need to be on a mission like the Cavs are right now.  The offense is there but the D needs to catch up for 4 quarters and not just 2.
