The Mo Wagner situation was odd. The Celtics gave up some actual assets in a deal that brought Kornet back and Mo Wagner came in at the same time. Wagner never really got a chance, was waived, and now is a serviceable backup center for a good team.

It's no travesty but it seems like Wagner was brought it as an afterthought and then dismissed without actually considering what he could do. Seems like maybe a missed opportunity.

I thought that one was Danny.  Brad coached that listless team that tried to add a spark with Fournier, Wagner and Kornet.
You're right, my bad, that was Brad's last year as coach.

We actually cut Mo before the playoffs, which was odd.

Brad made several gutsy moves to position C?s to win the title .  I doubt we win without them .

I would say signing Enes Freedom (Kanter), but Steven recovered by trading Freedom and Schroder for Theis. Freedom was useless on the court.

It's a testament to BS that something as insignificant a bad signing is arguably his worst move.

Yeah.  To make a baseball analogy, Brad is the rare GM who hits for a high average with also plenty of power.

I keep thinking this is Brad's best quality, he would rather admit he made a mistake and fix it vs. riding it out to try to prove he was right in the beginning.

That is why it is hard to pick out his worst move.   He didn't let them linger.

you guys are good, he does not have a very bad big move, the Springer one i am still trying to understand but springer is a beast on defense.

Yeah, Springer's physicality is really something. It reminds me of Smart. If he can figure out any role on offense he can wind up a useful player.
