Indy doing well. Staying in it.

It's not pretty but ... they're staying in it.

Cason Wallace is a menace. I think he is due for a breakout year next year, similar to Dyson Daniels this year.

OKC looks tight; Indy loose - the way you play when you know you aren?t supposed to win but you are ready to give it everything. Won?t shock me if Indy stays in it.

And OKC missing threes again.

Dame
Tatum
Hali.

That takes out three playoff teams that were all top 6 seeds last season.

Also possible Giannis heads out West (maybe).

The East is WIDE open next year. I'm also not convinced NY/CLE are guaranteed to have similar awesome seasons. I don't see an "invincible" looking team in the East next year.

And Garland having off season surgery.

Turner has had one of the most frustrating offensive series I can remember.  He does defend, I'll credit him for that, but maaan his offense has been putrid.

OKC have been disappointing since Hali got hurt.

SGA has very good timing as a weakside rim protector.  Been noticing that this series.  Not many guards have that in their arsenal.

It's a shame the Celtics weren't healthy enough to get back to the Finals.

Brown's knee
Holiday's injuries
KP's illness
Tatum's wrist and then his Achillies
Hauser's ankle...

Just brutal.

He started the series well. 31pts (15.5ppg) in first 2 games combined on 50% FG%. Since then he has been a disaster zone. 9.3ppg in 4 games on 28.6% FG% and 2-15 3PTA. His FT shooting has been one saving grace at 15-17 FTA.

Indy was just going to look dominant long-term, but with the seemingly Achilles injury that Hali sustained, they're pretty much in the same boat as Boston. Was rooting hard for Indy post-Celtics run.

I blame the Mickey Mouse tournament in the middle; they need to shorten these games.

As for tonight's game, I hope the Pacers can rally without Haliburton.

Indy are one of those teams like C-Webb's Kings or Barkley's Suns that you would love to see win a title just because of the beauty of the way they play the game.

Entire season is way too long.

I'm not sure Indy can afford to take Siakam and Nembhard off the court for the rest of this one.  Too important with Hali out.  If you have to hook them up to oxygen at TV timeouts and get them an IV drip at halftime, so be it.

OKC is rattled - as they?ve been a lot of the series.  Knowing that Indy?s star is done and knowing they can?t put this team away has got to be weighing on them.

Oh come on.  Keep Dort's flopping garbage out of G7.
