Caruso got hammered.

Nice bucket by SGA on next possession. They needed that. Needed to calm themselves down. Needed to stop DEN momentum. Big shot.

Clever finish by Westbrook to get that up as quickly as possible to beat the shot clock.

Good defense by Jokic on the previous possession. He doesn't get enough credit for how much of a deterrence he is around the basket. It is not about how many shots he blocks. It is about how many shots he contests or alters. He stopped SGA from taking that to the rim and turned it into an off balance off dribble contested fallaway from 14 feet. Miss. Jokic doesn't get the credit he deserves for how often he does that.

Jokic needs to hunt his own shot more.  He's 14-20 from the field but spending a lot of possessions setting up cold teammates.

Shoot the ball, big guy!

That is a tough shot. Caruso tries to set a screen on the right sideline for SGA, J Murray stands in his way and denies the screen, Caruso gives up and goes away, J Murray stays then doubles, SGA swings the ball, Caruso sprints to the opposite corner and shoots a 3 off of that movement.

That is a 3 point attempt for top shooters like Steph Curry. Not for middling ones like Caruso. Of course he missed. You are asking too much of him.

That is a hard shot after a 40 foot sprint, turn and face, square up, immediate catch and shoot 3. That is not a shot you should be asking Caruso to take.

9min mark - I am a little behind

Denver are getting very good shots. They just aren't going down.

Denver got one quarter from Murray and otherwise it has been Joker trying to carry the offense by himself.  Not enough from the supporting cast to keep up with a complete team effort like the Thunder have had.  The fact that it has even been this close says something about the individual game Jokic has had.

Denver choked it up in the end. Not enough help for Jokic.

If I'm being honest, I'm not sure this year's Celtics would've beat this OKC team in the Finals anyways, particularly with the nagging injuries most of the guys have. Maybe not even Denver with KP being so out of it.

Last year's Celtics team definitely would've, but I just don't think this year they would've been able to handle OKC's physicality against them.
