What the heck happened to the Cavs? Were they just regular season contenders? Was Indy a LOT better than everyone thought?
Bad matchup for Cleveland? All of the above?
1. Indy is a lot better than people realize
2. Mitchell and Garland are turnstiles, healthy or not.
3. Hunter is wildly overrated, especially on defense. He is soft too - after the mini-fight with Mathurin he and his whole team turtled up.
This should be a wakeup call for that franchise. They need a defense-first PG - a Jrue Holiday or Derrick White-type to take some pressure off of Mitchell. And Mitchell needs to start actually trying on defense. Scoring 40 means nothing if he's giving it up on the other end. During the last couple regular seasons I've felt we can get the shots we want against them ourselves. Mobley is great but he can't do it all by himself.
