Cavs cut it to 36 and, as a Celtics fan, I had a reflexive moment of fear.

Just tuned in....uh....what happened? Someone make it make sense. Not a Cavs fan though I live near Cleveland. But OMG.
Why is Mitchell in the locker room? Is it the old Lebron hey-my-team-is-losing-so-I-have-to-get-"injured?"

The Cavs went down 2-1 to the C's last year and then out of nowhere Mitchell was hurt and missed the next two games. Now they are about to go down 3-1 and Mitchell isn't even on the court or bench, is he quitting on them again?

Now they say "doubtful" with an ankle. Ankle? When did that happen

who was out for the pacers last year when we played? nembhard? pretty sure halliburton, siakam, turner and nesmith played.

Mathurin was out the whole series and they lost Hali in G2 iirc.

Nembhard played and actually gave us the business when Hali was out.

Overall though, we didn't have Porzingis in any of the 2nd round and ECF. Still advanced  8)

Haliburton reaggravated his hamstring late in Game 2 and missed the next two games after

My goodness. A 31pt lead in the 1st half?

What a no-show by Cleveland. That is a massive deficit.

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

So 10 days or so ago my gf is telling me to let her know if I see any good games/series to bet on. The next day I see Cleveland is -450 to win the series against Indiana.

Shocked by these odds, I enthusiastically recommend she bet on Indy to win.

She never bothers to do so. Lol.

Before this series started some idiots on reddit said that Celtics fans were largely responsible for any Indy hype this year because we want to legitimize last year's championship by saying we beat them. Insinuating that the Pacers suck.

But they were good then and they're better now. We're going to have our hands full assuming we get past NY.

Toppin is an amazing athlete. He is skilled too.

Incredible he isn't a starting PF playing 35 minutes a night somewhere. And putting up 15-18ppg.

That's the strength of the Pacers imo.  They go nine deep on good players.

I'm not a huge fan of Haliburton overall, but as much as I think people overrate him, I think they simultaneously underrate everybody else on that roster.  That team has a lot of firepower.  That's why they still gave us a heck of a fight last year even after losing Haliburton to that hamstring injury.

Cavs are built for the regular season. Been saying it all year. Can?t win in the postseason with small guards. This is what happened when Mitchell was in Utah as well.
