I won't root for the Lakers very often, but in this particular instance, I hope Luka hangs 100 and stares Nico down after every last point.

Luka scoring 60+ would be hilarious

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

It's Naji Marshall vs. Luka Doncic

I?m surprised Nico isn?t hiding in a suite or something. Honestly, fans should be more upset with the owners. They are the ones who signed off on it.

That is a tough cover for D Gafford having to try and defend LeBron James one-on-one. Tough matchups here for Dallas with the double big lineup.

How can AD not feast against this Lakers lineup?

They are playing no big men. AD should be killing these guys. Either one one one or even PnR lob threat. None of these guys can compete with him physically / athletically.

Instead of being like a shark tasting blood in the water, AD instead goes passive and doesn't look to attack. He wastes so many opportunities in games.

That?s the thing, though. AD is not a killer.

Luka 45pts 8reb 6ast 4stl

16-28 FGA 7-10 3PTA 6-9 FTA

Huge applause from the Mavs fans as Luka checks out for the night. Beautiful to see.

Then more "Fire Nico" chants. Love it.

That was nice. All of Luka's former Mavs teammtes showing him love after the game. Patrick Mahomes too. Then Mark Cuban. A nice way to end his 1st game back in Dallas.

And then all the "Luka" chants for Luka as he walked off the court through the tunnels. With Mavs fans holding up his Mavs jerseys. Wonderful. I am happy Luka got that reception after how he was done dirty by Nico & the owners. Luka deserves that love.

Josh Giddey tonight in Chicago win over Miami: 28pts, 16rebs, 11ast, 3blks, 2stls. Shot
11-19 from the field, 3-6 from 3pt.

OKC traded him away for Alex Caruso.  ;D

Looks like Nuggets got their first win in the post-Malone era.

Jimmy Butler was 5-8 FGA. Took only 8 shots. But earned himself 17 free throws and was 16-17 from the foul line. He literally took twice as many FTAs as FGAs. Incredible.

28pts 7ast 2stl 1 TOV.

Harrison Barnes can still ball. Buries game-winning 3 at Chase Center, his former team.

Joker last 6 games has averaged 41ppg 13rpg 10ast.

They lost 4 in a row in that 6 game stretch.

Orlando is at Atlanta on Sunday.  Might be a "determine your play-in opponent" game for Orlando.
