I would have given a flagrant on that one. I didn't think there was an attempt on the ball. He slammed down hard on the shoulder to drag Luka down. Never got close to the ball. It was intentional.

Then Luka had a rough fall afterwards. Looking like he landed on his tailbone. Looked painful. The bad fall made the foul look worse.

Hopefully, Luka can loosen out at halftime. He looked bad walking around after that fall. I think it was the fall more the chop on the shoulder that hurt Luka.

Not sure about this doubling of Ant. LAL are conceding too many high percentage scoring attempts.

Better to make Ant beat you.

But Minny keep letting hang around. They need to put LAL away while they are struggling.

The excitement from the crowd is incredible whenever Luka has the ball and looks like he might try something fun.

Redick needs to take Luka out. He can barely move. He is going to pick up a stupid foul any second now because he can't move defensively.

Luka is so slow right now that the refs could have called for a defensive 3 seconds while Luka walked across the paint on D. Never stopped. Just walked. That is how slowly he was moving.

He is dead out there. He needs a rest. Sub him. Help him loosen up that back again.

What a move by Ant to get to the cup. Misses the layup but attracted two defenders leaving Gobert wide open for the easy rebound and flush.

I'd love to see a stat where people tracked that. When drivers attract extra attention and create easy offensive rebounding opportunities for teammates. It is not an assist but it certainly is something. Something valuable. And drivers don't get credit for it. They just a missed FGA in their box score. It is more than that.

I think that is good for Minny. He has been sitting too long tonight due to foul trouble. He looks cold (shooting wise). I don't trust him to make long range shots. Looks awful on his last one.

Better to go with a guy who is in the flow of the game.

Doncic isn't a world-beater defensively but Reaves is quietly much worse at that end imo.  Doncic struggles with changes of direction but Reaves can't even guard the first move.
