Celtics wins = 59
Celtics seed = 2
Division = New York, Boston, Philly, Toronto, Brooklyn
Eastern Conference = New York, Boston, Philly, Milwaukee, Indiana, Orlando, Cleveland, Miami

Have to imagine teams are starting to figure out the C's after their dominant run last year. Knicks have vastly improved on their roster and esp with their recent acquisition. Tatum's a question-mark with that shooting slump bleeding over into the Olympics-- don't know if skipping that wrist surgery is starting to bother him now. Records will be close esp for the top 2 seeds, in fact probably tied, but I'll give the edge to New York.

The other teams have figured out that the Celts are just better but there isn't much they can do about it.

I am a bit superstitious about making highly specific predictions, but I will go on the record with some general ones:

The Celtics are and will be the team to beat

Philly will not hold up, injuries will haunt them

The Knicks will be good, not great, too many new pieces, still a tough out in the playoffs though

The Cavs will be better than people think.  I have no concerns about Garland and Mitchell playing together, they just need to stay healthy.

59 Wins
1st position/seed.

Look for the Celtics to rest guys a little more/experiment with some different things as they try to keep their players mentally engaged through the season.  Post All-Star break I expect them to turn it on, but earlier in the season there will be some games where whatever they tried that night didn?t work (and we probably don?t see it again).  Brad about said as much during his post-draft press conference in June.

Not sure how many wins (will be over 55). 1 or 2 seed.

Boston wins the East in 5 or 6 games no matter who they play in the ECF.
