I hate trying to bet on Week 1. Very tough to get a feel due to all the movement.
I don't bet but betting under for Iowa games seems like a pretty sure bet (for their defense and against their offense).  They're up 6-0 against Illinois State at the half.

I would've loved to but I live in Illinois and you can't be on any games involving Illinois schools.

There?s a ton of time in the first UF game of the season, but I will share my hot take that this is the first game of Napier?s last season as coach.

Not that I was expecting a ton of upsets, but feels like every game today has just been a blowout...

Night games are a lot interesting though. Michigan could be in danger, only up 6 early in the 4th And Notre Dame up 7 on Texas A&M, one quarter to go.

Idk how I missed this but wow, #3 Oregon also in a scare, only up 3 to an FCS team with 6 minutes to go (and Idaho getting the ball back)

Not surprised by Michigan's struggle but really surprised Oregon didn't go on a run to blowout Idaho at some point.  Ohio State played with their food in the 1st half but then blew out Akron in the 2nd.

As far as upset go, Vandy over Virginia Tech may have been the only one but there were some near misses:  South Carolina over Old Dominion 23-19, UCLA over Hawaii 16-13 and Texas Tech slides past Abilene Christian 52-51 in overtime.

You're not going out on a limb too much for that one.  Napier's seat was blistering hot coming into the season.  The question is how many games he lasts before being fired.  The NIL vultures are already circling.

The DeBoer era started well with Bama beating Western Kentucky 63-0.  DeBoer played a lot of players starting in the 1st half which was good to see since Bama has a lot of young players.

The game started off weird with Proctor, the starting LT, getting injured in warmups and the Western Kentucky headsets weren't working at the start so Bama couldn't use theirs.  Bama started off out of sorts with a sack and some penalties and later a snap over the head fumble, but Bama had a bunch of big plays.  Bama was up 42-0 at the half while only running 21 offensive plays.  Strangely Western Kentucky had a 21-play drive to equal Bama's total in one drive.  Milroe completed 7 of 9 for 200 yards and 3 TDs while running for 79 yards and 2 more TDs.  Hopefully next game he'll get more passing attempts.

I'm a little confused why Clemson gets so much love, is it because of Sweeney? Their QB is not good and they have a few playmakers I guess but that's about it. I get they played #1 Georgia but boy they looked awful, and yet I'm seeing most projections still keeping them around the Top-18. Really? Frankly I don't think they should even be ranked (or they should just be in the 23-25 range I guess).

Except Idaho never got the ball back down 3 😉

I agree about Clemson but they do get some benefit of the doubt losing to Geogia who may be the best team.  How many teams can play competitively with Georgia?  Given the weakness of the ACC Clemson has a chance to win the conference and make the playoffs.

Wish they had spread more games into today.

Also sucks that I have to wait all weekend until tomorrow night to see BC.

Yeah Oregon went for it right after I posted it lol, and they converted with a TD soon after
