Seems like it's going to be a pretty arbitrary list.  Andy Murray ahead of Aaron Rodgers?  Lol.

Cross sports lists are really tough. Especially when you get outside the top tier.

hard to compare different sports. Am curious what they do with Brady, Lebron, Messi, and Tiger. Not to mention the 4 tennis players (serena and the 3 guys) and someone like Phelps

Serena should probably be #1.

Ordering will be interesting.  Spitballing her but if I were to guess, it'll be some combo of Serena, Tiger,  Brady, Lebron, & Phelps.

Why is Serena ahead of Djokovic in your view?

4x NFL MVP seems like a more consequential athletic achievement than 3x GS winner.

probably, though Murray does have 2 Gold Medals and 1 silver medal and he did play simultaneously against the 3 winningest tennis players in the sport's history

I didn't forget. I speculated where I think ESPN is going with this.

How are Chris Paul (83) and Roy Holliday (88) ahead of Pedro Martinez (92)?

Not sure about that. A regular season award is good, but Rodgers should have more postseason success to be considered one of the greats.
The only real mistake is the one from which we learn nothing.

Compared to other greats, sure.  Andy Murray isn't a great.  He's not even top-40 in career grand slams.

Presumably because several of Pedro?s best seasons, including two of his three Cy Youngs, were in the 90s, and this is a list of the 2000s.
