Well, new ownership sucks. Hope the attendance is awful next year.   :blank:
What did you expect?  It was OBVIOUS that the salary was unsustainable.  That was the case even had we repeated.  Under the current circumstances you simply cannot blame ownership for these decisions.  I?d do the same thing.

I expected Jrue and maybe Hauser. Even when healthy, a core of Pritchard, White, Brown, Tatum, and Kornet(assuming they bring him back) isn?t a contender. Will be lucky to be a 4 or 5 seed. Just not enough talent.

Looks like Kornet is gone, to the Spurs...sigh..,

This is worse than I ever could have imagined. Are people going to keep their season tickets?

Wonder if the Cs PR team will send out those emails like Krafty Bob does at the end of each season, begging people not to cancel their tickets.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Completely gutted the team. Disgusting.  :blank:

I feel the same way. We have been so lucky with the previous ownership. They were great. It makes a huge difference to have great owners.

It is still early with these new owners but this has been a terrible start to their reign. It is making me worried about their long term impact here.

I wonder if their hands were tied because of Tatum's injury. It kinda made things easier for Brad and Chisholm to exercise decisions. But yeah, nah, I wish the C's could've pursued even someone like Capela or Plumlee. I guess they're just standing pat this season and gonna be like the Atlanta Hawks-- getting nowhere

I can't blame ownership for this. No JT= No title anyway. Why blow though millions to be a play in? I'd rather use this year to clear cap and give Brad the chance to reload for when JT is back.

We all know how this league works. We're not going to be some Det team from it's Chauncy days and be an darkhorse winner.

When this owenership sees a chance it can win, that's when it should be judged.
Back to wanting Joe fired.

Tatum is expected to miss 8-9 months, according to his father. So there was chance he could be back early next year.  I don?t think that justifies gutting the team. I understand moving a piece or two to get under a threshold, but this roster is just trash now.
