Haliburton took his own lack of PT with a sense of humor

But when Tatum gets a DNP he gets crucified even folks saying he cried to his mommy about it ugh
I don't think Tatum has actually ever complained about anything...he's just answered questions honestly, saying it was a humbling experience, etc. I feel like he's dealt with it pretty professionally, more so than other similar players would have in his place:
But Tatum said he didn't confront Kerr over the lack of playing time and instead put Team USA over his individual needs en route to winning his second gold medal Saturday in Paris.
"No. I just stayed a professional," Tatum told reporters, per The Boston Globe's Tara Sullivan. "I came to work every day. Just stay ready. We got great guys on this team and while you feel like you deserve to play and the competitor in you wants to play, as a coach for a reason he makes those decisions. Your job as a player is to stay ready whenever your number is called."

If anything Jaylen was more vocal about his snubbing than JT, who tends to go with the flow. But the media is making it into a story, because it's not every day that someone of his caliber gets benched. So he keeps getting asked about it, they report things like his mom is unhappy (what mom wouldn't, that's what makes moms moms, they stick up for their kids) and they talk about it on talk radio. It's a bit of interpersonal drama to juice up the offseason, and I'm sure they will lean into it again when the Cs play the Dubs. Obviously as Cs fans we're outraged, and it's understandable, we want to see him shine.
As for Hali, nobody expected him to play, he's basically playing the Christian Laettner role
