Who?s that guy with a reasonable chance of being on the board at 30 that you?re going to be excited if the C?s pick, or howl with rage every time he makes a shot for years to come if the C?s pass on him?

Mine is Pacome Dadiet.  He?s still only 18, and is a 6?8 forward from France who played in Germany last year.  He?s got a decent stroke for his age, and has flashed some good ballhandling too.  He?s a couple years away from being useful, but the Celtics are a couple years away from needing him to be useful.  He?s either met with or meeting with the Celtics shortly, one of 6-8 teams he?s sitting with, so he?s definitely on the radar.  He?s got a high ceiling, but at 18 his floor is like Caboclo (always a couple years away from being a couple years away).  But I think he showed enough as an 18 yo in Germany that he?s going to make it.

Givony mocked him to us today, which I hope won?t be the kiss of death for our chances.  The Athletic has him ranked #30 overall as well (but mocked him to 35.) He seems like the high-ceiling developmental shot that Brad has gone after since he took over.

Dalton Knecht. I think he's going to be a reliable wing scorer/shooter for a lot of years in the NBA.

I just haven't been thrilled with the feel of most of the prospects where the Celtics are picking.

No fair.  Knecht is going 20 spots before the Cs pick!  I guess I?ll let you be cranky if Portland gets him with the Golden State pick we briefly owned.

Then you can remind yourself that we don't win a title without the Jrue trade, haha.

No binkies, but if Edey falls and we pass on him I'll be disappointed.

I agree, but I don?t think he?s getting anywhere near 30 at this point.

Probably Kel'el Ware.

True 7 footer, 7'5 wingspan. Has a chance to be able to eventually be a floor stretcher from three. Seems like a worthwhile gamble to me.

Actually keeping the 30th pick and picking someone...anyone would be great.

Living in VA I have a soft spots for Dunn (late 1st, early 2nd) and Beekman (late 2nd/FA 2 Way)

They both have elite defensive skills.  Beekman could be a poor man's White.

I'm just not optimistic that Dunn can ever be even an average shooter, but he could be a SF/PF version of Thybulle.

I?m a big Ware fan.  I?ve just accepted he?ll be off the board 5-10 spots before we pick.  He and Missi are my two true binkies, but they?re out of range unless we trade.

I just want them to take a big, especially one who might be able to shoot, becasue i think its so critical for the way they play and Al is old and Kp is often injured. Filipowski or Holmes also fit that bill, but need seem likely to fall to 30.

I'd trade up to get Ware, but that doesn't seem like Brad's mo. I think a deal with Phoenix at #22 for #30, #54 and the best of Was/Det/GSW 2nd next year would be interesting if a guy you really like is still around then.

I'd like a proven college big guy. Someone that could come in and play off the bench and not kill you next season.  So a guy like Edey, Ware, Filipowski, etc.  And I know those guys are at varying stages of development, but I feel they could all give at least 10 mpg.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

Seems like an option at 54 for a 2-way contract.
