Would love to get Gordon back as the wing off the bench with Sam

Hayward pouted his way off a contender and didn?t score In the playoffs for the Thunder I don?t think. Not sure he is In league next year

His wife made a big deal out of it too. I don?t think Hayward is ready to accept a very limited role.

looking sportrac yesterday. Guys I can see available for the min.

Bigs
Theis
Saric
Thomas Byrant
Bamba

Wings
Bertens
Dougie Mcbuckets
Josh Richardson
Lonnie Walker
Marcus Morris

Guards
Aaron Holiday
Kris Dunn
Delon Wright

I would try to add a big and a wing, I believe they were after Richardson and Bryant last year but they choose Miami last year, I like lonnie walker, he shot well from 3 last year.

That?s a nice list. But maybe there are some bigger names that are ready to ring chase?
Center: Valanciunas? If not I like Theis.
Bing wing: T.Harris? Batum, Covington are more likely vet min candidates, though.
Smaller wings: Hayward? Ingles? Do they have anything left in their tanks?
Guards: Garry Harris?
Most of those guys seem to have one more larger contract ahead, but one could dream :) I?d think there will be at least one vet that would like to join Boston for a title run even in a limited role. Although

Lonnie Walker would be a dream "ring chaser" addition. Perfect for this team and another legit scoring option. But I think he'll get a decent deal elsewhere.

Batum or Saric make a ton of sense and I would love either.

Yeah, Saric is the guy I'd target, although roster-wise we may not have room for him and Tillman.

I'd be thrilled with:

Porzingis / Horford / Tillman
Tatum / Saric / Brissett
Brown / Hauser / Walsh
Jrue / Springer
White / Pritchard

Gone:  Kornet, Svi, Queta?

And then go crazy and sign Justin Holiday and Aaron Holiday, haha.

My 2 guys I would love to grab would be Batum or Walker.

Instant offense off the bench to pair with Al, Sam and PP. I think the bench needs a little more consistent shooting and scoring.

I still think another big might be crucial given KP's status and getting hurt a lot. Al was effective this year because they rested him so well. That can't change.

Maybe Kornet is good enough to handle that role or a tad more. Tillman also if he works on his 3 point shooting.

I have to really look at all the FAs again lol. Off the top of my head... I can think of 3 names, and 2 of them may shock people.

Patrick Beverley. Gordon Hayward. Andre Drummond.

The first two are probably like "huh", but I think it makes sense just strictly as depth and "ring chasing". Idk if Hayward's relationship with Boston is good or not, if not then just take him out.

Honestly Beverley might not be a bad get. Motivated for a ring. Gives you an extra depth guard and another defensive force.

But again, I need to explore the FA market and see again who is out there.

I thought of bringing Gordon back.  I would, still a producer, just not for OKC for some reason.  At Charlotte this year, through 25 games, he was averging 14.5 per.

I don't think Robin would let him come back, even if he was ready to.

From what I saw of OKC this year, he's devolved into a slow-paced point forward who wants to pass first, second, and third. It's not often you have a problem with guys who won't shoot, but this is a positively Simmonsian stat line:
"...unceasingly we are bombarded with pseudo-realities manufactured by very sophisticated people using very sophisticated electronic mechanisms. I do not distrust their motives; I distrust their power. They have a lot of it."

Hard to judge a player who is playing for a dumpster fire of a team.

Theis would be perfect if you could get him on a vet min.

By the same token, it's hard to judge a player who is traded mid-season.

He left us for Charlotte. Charlotte! And now he's failed again in OKC. I don't want that bum anywhere near the Celtics.

I'm not sure if the Sixers are bringing any of these guys back. Harris, Hield, Batum, and Oubre would all be great on vet mins.

Tobias Harris
Buddy Hield
Nicolas Batum
Robert Covington
De'Anthony Melton
Kyle Lowry
Kelly Oubre
Mo Bamba
Kenyon Martin Jr.
Cameron Payne
Terquavion Smith
