I'm so happy for Al Horford. That guy busted his A out this entire playoffs. You can tell he was very hungry for it after falling short in 2022 and 2023.

Yeah he is a pro and deserves it. And he will NOT break Karl Malone's record now thank god

Middle of the afternoon here, 12+ hours of celebrating ahead for me  ;D

It's been a hell of a ride since joining the forum 15 years ago. So many of you here showed incredible faith and confidence in this team - I salute you.

I'm just so happy that Tatum balled out tonight - in the biggest game of the season he was without a doubt the best player on the court.

If he struggled tonight then title or not, the only thing we'd be hearing in the media is about how Tatum choked and he was just lucky the team carried him.  Now after the way he played tonight I think he has well and truly silenced the critics.

* They can no longer complain about Tatum not being clutch after playing huge all game (especially the 4th)
* They can no longer criticise the Celtics for being 'untested' and having an easy path after a gentleman sweep against the best team in the West
* They can no longer criticise the Celtics for playing down to opponents after winning every playoff series in 5 games or less and a 20 point closeout
* Tatum and Brown over the past few years have now beaten Giannis, KD, Kyrie, Embiid, Butler and Luka

I don't think there's much left for the haters to actually say.  The Celtics have shut everybody up.

Now he just needs to beat Lebron in a 7-game series...payback for 2018 and 2010!

What a team.

Amazing year, answered every single challenge by kicking its ass and made the haters looks silly.

Sister and I finally got home. What a surreal moment to witness it live! The annoying part though was afterwards they basically blocked off all of North Station area including the trains so we all had to walk around a ton. And there was also a ton of National Guard, State police, riot troops all over. I was a bit worried as I was with my younger sister and didn?t want to put her in any harm?s way during the outside celebrations

But regardless, we had so much fun! TD Garden was absolutely shaking and super loud. I?ve been there before but it was our first Finals game.

I?ll definitely post a pic or two tomorrow morning. I could post 1-2 video clips as well but idk how to on this site, just images.

The last team to lose a game this season, and the last to win.

Just a special season from start to finish.

This was a season for the ages. They won?t get the historic respect they deserve because they didn?t have a media darling but they really put together about as good as a 101-game stretch as we have ever seen. Pure domination.

Congrats to the entire organization from the owners to Brad to the coaching staff to the end of bench guys.

Can?t wait for opening night!

Man I am so happy and jealous of you!!! that had to be so epic to see them bring home the title.   The garden sounded so loud on the TV, it must have been mind blowing there.

honestly I'd rather just see LeBonds rot in play-in-game limbo for the rest of his career.

What an amazing season, capped off with another game in which the team dominated yet another team by leading by 20+ points.

Hopefully Porzingis has a successful surgery (if needed) and comes back fully healthy next season. Hopefully, Derrick White gets to the dentist soon and tgey can fix him up.

During this playoff run, Jaylen unlocked a cheat code. There were no longer any instances where he disappeared on the court. He found a balance where he was effective at all times. And Jayson got that weight off his shoulders by winning tge title, and showed the world his all around game. There's a reason the Celtics are already the odds on favorite next season and it starts with the J's.
