Recently the Celtics lost Russell (6) Hondo (17) and jones (24). Those jersey numbers are 6 17 24?the exact day they can win banner 18 in game 5, which was Walton?s number.

It also is the 16 year anniversary of the last championship won in the garden to the day.

Last three Celtics teams have lost the close out game on the road only to win the title at home (84, 86, 08). Bird?s teams were blown out by double digits.

All those factors mean nothing but it would be really cool to see them all connect.

Man, I thought I was a hyper Celtics fan. That is beautiful.
And I loved the part about being nervous for exhibition games - thought I was the only one.

The Four Celtic Generals:
Russell - Cowens - Bird - Garnett

The Four Celtic Lieutenants:
Cousy - Havlicek - McHale - Pierce

For the stat nerds out there, I am 99% confident that my confidence level is in the 95th percentile.
Very nice.

This team continues to be passive on defense in long stretches.

It?s also very turnover prone when the shots aren?t falling.

Since we tend to play worse at home and if the Mavs continue to get guys like Exum and Lively hitting 3?s then we could be in trouble.

Mavs some how sneak a win in Boston this goes 7 and then all bets are off.

Cs need to treat Game like it?s G7.

Very high. I called Celtics in 5 before the series started because I think we match up well with them. I?m confident Joe will make the adjustments to counter Dallas? roaming center defensive scheme. And hopefully a few more of our open shots go down

I don't get too worked up aboit a blowout loss.  It was embarassing, but it's over and it only counts as one loss/win.  Same as a nailbiter.

I one hope for garbage time was the Pritchard could find his shot.  He did see a few go in, but was far from efficient.  Conversely, the one guy I've been afraid of getting for them (besides the obvious stars), was Hardaway.  He got to see a bunch of 3's go through the hoop.  Hopefully no carry over on that.  He is a legit scoring threat.

Hardaway?s defense is terrible.  I would be fine with him getting more minutes because he hit some shots against garbage time defense.

I thought Hardaway cost them the game in Gm 3 he was so awful. Lousy in Gm 1 as well. They played better in Gm 2 vs Gm 1 in large part because they dropped him from the rotation. I was surprised Kidd brought him back for Gm 3.

Can't defend.
Can't rebound.
Can't pass.
Can't handle the ball.

Only good for making perimeter jump-shots and if they aren't falling at a good clip, he is a large net negative out there.

It?s probably not a rational feat - there?s a reason Dallas improved when they stopped playing him, but I definitely felt what I felt when Kidd went to him in Boston when no one from Dallas was shooting well.  Worked out ok then.

Celts in 5!

Let?s Go!
Yup

Hardaway sprained his ankle in game 2 against the Clippers and hasn't been shooting well since. That has also limited his already poor defense even more.

Feeling pretty confident tonight. The Celtics had their f' around and find out game in Dallas, and I expect they'll come out with a different energy at home after getting their butts kicked.

Also feels like they're due for a 40%+ game from three.

100% They win the series. Whether that be tonight or on game 6 or 7.
Back to wanting Joe fired.

Not confident, doom and gloom has arrived. Air Corgi and I predicted 7 games and that may happen.

Confident tonight will be the closest game of the series and maybe OT.

We will know how things are going to play out pretty early.

The closer we get to game time, the better I feel.  We've beaten Dallas seven out of eight times the past two seasons.  Plus, Kyrie is still a schmuck.

Basically 0 worries at this point. Ask me at end of 1st quarter and it might be high

I also feel like their role players and Kyrie will wilt in the garden.

Role players generally play better at home.
