After Game 3, I was riding high.  I figured that our chances at a title were close to 100%, and I was already planning on traveling into Boston for the parade.

Now? I can completely envision this team losing three games in a row. The complete lack of competitiveness scares me, and I see no answer to stopping the Mavericks inside without Porzingis.  I see Game 5 as a must win.

Overall confidence:  51%.

My panic meter:

Game 3 heading into Game 4? 40% panic, the closeout game is usually the toughest.
Game 4 heading into Game 5? 100% panic, they got blown the EFF out in the worst possible ways.
Game 5 heading into Game 6? That's gonna be 200% panic. I sure hope we don't have to see a Game 6 but with this squad, the likelihood of that is higher than say a squad with Curry/Klay/KD/Draymond

Game 6 heading into Game 7? Find me on a ledge.

Right now? I am still 99% confident we will win it all

IF we lose Game 5? It'll drop to around 50%.

If they come out flat again and lose Game 5, then things get real dicey and you start to have big doubts.

I am normally the Nervous Nelly.  But if the Celts had lost Game 4 after say, giving up a 17 point lead in the middle of the 3rd quarter, I would be super nervous right now.  The old "collapse" narrative would be reignited.

But game 4 was such a crazy turn of events.  Dallas played out of their mind both offensively and defensively.

And the Cs played their most craptastic game of the season.  Even Jrue Holliday had five turnovers!

For some reason, I feel like the team will rebound and play lights out on Monday.  The crowd will get them juiced, and I think Holliday and Brown will light a fire under everyone and carry them.

I think they've got this and I'm really surprised I'm saying that!

We?ve put up a stinker in pretty much every series, and had a historically bad offensive game for this squad.  Hard to envision anything like that happening again.  The effort was poor and even guys like white and jrue were caught standing flat footed giving up offensive boards just watching.

My take is in every series where we knew the series was over we had a poor effort game.  In rounds 1 and W 2 it was so
Obvious after game 1, game 2 was the poor effort game.  Indiana series didn?t happen somehow.  This series, it was after going up 3-0 and not blowing the huge lead in game 3.

They come back and win game 5 going away.

93% confidence.

If we lose game 5, then I?ll be down to 51 pct.

Before game 3 I was extremely nervous. I expected that we would see a Mavs blow out. So when the Cs won, I was beyond happy. I did think the Mavs would win one at home. I just do not like they way they won game 4. It was totally unprofessional by the Cs to put that out there.

I would have been really happy if you told me Boston would be coming home up 3-1 and a chance to clinch in game 5. I picked the Cs in 6. So I am happy they got the split. Unhappy they crapped away a chance to win the title in 4 with a no show.

After sleeping on it, I am at about 60 percent that they win Monday. The scars this team leaves you with are starting to resurface.

I am starting to get sucked back into last year when they lost a lot of meaningful games at home...esp in Game 5. I cannot imagine the damage blowing a 3-0 lead to lose the series would do to this franchise and this roster. That stink would never leave.

The Cs are finally missing KP. But I do think Game 4 was about mindset and effort. They have been good all season bouncing back from blow outs. They did it in rounds 1 and 2. I just am puzzled that this team played like it was a mid January in Washington when they had a chance to win the title.

If they lose game 5 this is going 7. But doubt is starting to creep in the closer we get to Monday. I really want to believe. I want to trust this group...but time and time again they have just fooled us. Yes they have gotten over some of that but until they win the title, there will be some doubt. Last night was falling back into old habits.

I do think Boston is due in this series for a big game at home and I am not sure the Mavs can replicate what they did last night (which wasn't much more than Boston literally not showing).

My last thing that scares me is Game 7 last year vs Miami. Cs at home. Building electric and they crapped the bed hard.

100% confident.  95% confident we win game 5, 100% this doesn?t go past 6.  This team has had a couple of terrible games this season, including this postseason.  They?ve never had consecutive stinkers, and they certainly aren?t going to suddenly have three in a row now.

I?m just going to sit back and enjoy the weekend.  Victory comes Monday.

I hope the crowd gets behind them in a big way. I thing I  have noticed is the US, crowd gets quite when their team gets behind. In European football especially English football often the crowd gets louder when the home team gets behind or starts to struggle. Hope this happens in Game 5.

After Game 1 I said that it was very unlikely that we finish the series 4-0, so my confidence is about the same - even if a sweep would have been a very nice feather in the cap of a very good season.

I don't have a percentage in mind, but I don't think it's particularly likely Dallas wins out.

Still 100% confident, but I didn't expect us to win last night. It's hard to sweep a team in the finals. These are pros with big egos, pride, and playing in front of their home fans. Didn't surprise me at all that Dallas played like a team on the ropes because they were.

That said, the C's haven't lost more than 2 in a row all year - and we're coming off a 10 game win streak in the playoffs. I don't see them suddenly losing 4 straight.

95% confident

5% worried = some day some team is going to come back from 0-3 down. It is only a matter of time until that happens. And the Jays do have a habit of making things overly difficult on themselves. I wouldn't be surprised if they gave Dalllas an opening here to push it to 6 or 7. Then it is anyone's series.

Disappointed but generally confident.  I don't know why they came out the way they did in G4 and it sucked to watch, but we're still up 3-1.

I do have some concern that we've sprung a leak in the paint with KP unavailable.

I had them winning in 6 so I wasn?t that surprised they lost game 4. I?m more surprised at their effort and Dallas still being interested. I?m 75.8% confident they?ll win game 5, if it goes to game 6 I?m 62.3% confident they win and if it goes 7 I?m 52.7% they win. I don?t know if I can last another week though.

Let?s go!
