Pretty sure a majority of fans picked the Celtics to win in 5 or 6 games. FYI, that means losing 1 or 2 games. Yeah tonight sucks but I'm not worrying yet. I'll start to worry if they lose Monday night as well.

What were we saving Porzingis for? Lively is dominating the rebounding.

He was never really going to play. It was symbolic to put him in at the end of we were winning by a lot - whoops

Dallas defense isn't any better.

Celtics playing with no energy. Offense looks like a mid Feb. game.

Rebounding is awful.

Rebounding and getting to loose balls. Both measures of effort are lacking tonight

Exactly. Boston looks like a team that knows they have a clinching game at home still and Dallas playing like a team that is down 0-3 at home.

Things will be different Monday.

So what adjustments have the Mavs made tonight on defense? My impression is they are packing the paint and we are not making them pay from three. Tatum and Brown are forcing drives. You can't keep driving into multiple defenders and then complain about no calls. Kick it out sooner and bomb away from three

They are getting to put hands all over the Celtics with no calls. That's the big change in the game.
Why wasn't the team prepared for that?
Going back to 1984 when Bird accused David Stern of extending the Finals against the Lakers, the NBA has been this way. Foster has done this to them before- they didn't see it coming?

Lets see a second half miracle comeback. If not, let me drink enough to forget the performance

Most people picked Boston in 5 or 6. Relax. Cs were due for a bad game after the run they had over the last month.

They will be better Monday. There is a reason sweeps in the finals rarely happen.

Jordan blew a 3-0 lead to the Sonics.

Exactly. They did it to Tatum and Brown for years in the playoffs, they should be able to deal with it by now.You either want it or you don't. Tonight they don't want it enough.

Because the refs had been so consistent in the first 3 games... And they really gave us a good whistle last game...

2 days off is a lot of rest for Luka, Kyrie, Lively and Gafford so they'll be well-replenished to do the same things again ugh. The time to erase them would've been tonight while they're still fatigued. C's look more fatigued than they do.

Rebounding is effort. Celtics have been lazy on both ends tonight.

Cs have been good after being blown out all season.

Dallas defense has been good but the refs are also giving them waaay more leeway
Tatum and Brown have both been called on multiple offensive fouls but Luka pushes off every time and no call because according to Doris he's "doing just enough to not get called".. just ridiculous what the narrative for this game was supposed to be off tip. The extender doing his darnedest to force game 5
everyone got so sensitive after 9-11... thanks alot bin laden

If PP isn't gonna make shots and our rebounding is an issue, why not put Brissett out there for a bit? He's a hustle guy and can grab boards. We kind of need that.
