Btw- Tom Brady earlier in the Eagles/Bucs game revealed that he seriously considered signing with the Bears in 2020 but they only offered him $10M compared to TB's $27.5M

Imagine him in a navy/orange Bears jersey in 2020...he'd have to play against Aaron Rodgers twice a year...and smoke him and smoke him again a third time in the NFCCG  8) Da Bears did make the postseason before losing to the Saints in Wild-Card Round

Devante Adams announced he prefers to be traded per sources.

Teams that may be in the radar for him: Jets, Bills, Cowboys, Chiefs, and Steelers. 49ers are an honorable mention

I would love to see him traded to the Chiefs, but can't believe he will be traded within the same division. I could see the Bills making an offer, as he would be a perfect fit.

I heard through the grapevine, back in August, that he was taking a break.  I have seen at least one post from him more recently.  Don't know any more about it than that.

People were rough on him.  He did have some extreme positions/opinions.  I don't mind people who have takes that are out there, that is kind of the whole point of a forum like this.  Certainly not anything worth getting angry about.

The Niners messed up not acquiring him. If they did, then Brady would have 8 or 9 SBs and the Niners would have easily won like 2 or 3 of the last 4 seasons.

Sorry but Jimmy G and even Purdy, while capable of doing well in the regular season and early rounds of the playoffs just typically end up falling short at the end. TB12 would have gotten them over the hump.

But that moron Shanahan was like "nah we can fit any QB in our system and win it all"

Kirk Cousins looked like 2017 Tom Brady out there. Jeez. And he's been looking good the first five weeks of the season.

Do you think...he might have a similar comeback like a Matthew Stafford-type comeback and possibly represent in the Superbowl? Or is it still too early

Shanahan is stupid and deserves those 3 miserable Superbowl losses. But agreed with the premise, TB12 in wine and gold would win 2-3 more rings. Loaded defense and loaded offense. The NFC was weaker than the AFC

He was pretty extreme but pretty analytical about it. Hope to see him back soon and if all's well. I assume he's in the Maryland or somewhere close to the northeast. Hopefully not the southeast as Helene just swept through.

I certainly have butted heads with him over the years but it was over like 8% of his takes he wouldn?t let go. The rest was often very thoughtful and well articulated. I miss his commentary and hope he is ok.

The forum is diminished without his voice.  Too bad, hope he returns.

As bad as things are currently in New England, the J-E-T-S will continue to be the Jets. Dumpster fire there.
