Anyone else seeing this?

Checking in on the post-game chatter this morning, some (but not all) apostrophes seem to have turned into question marks and/or "’"-s - which is unicode codepoint \u2019, 'Right Single Quotation Mark', if you're a nerd.

Basically, it's the difference between ' and the 'other' apostrophe/single right facing quote mark:

Like so:

I had to pick this week to travel. It?s 5:30 in the morning, I?ve been up for 3 hours and clearly not going back to sleep. Unfortunately, the British don?t have Sportscenter.

But it?s been a ton of fun reading this thread from the beginning after the game was over. There were points at which I was convinced by the dialogue we were down 20, even though I knew that we were only down a point or two, or even up. Not sure if KO has a slight nick or a broken leg.

But I?m glad we have CS and not just a box score. Sounds like Tatum had a decent game in every aspect except shooting, which is big for him. Last year, if he had a bad shooting night, he would have given up everywhere else.

I thought the word on Jrue was that he was bad in the playoffs. If this is bad Jrue, I can?t wait to see the good one.

Poor Sam Hauser. After a fantastic year, he hit a cold streak at the wrong time. I hope that?s not what he?s remembered for.

Porzingis says he "feels good" but team will have to take a look at his leg injury tomorrow. Though he said he'll "die out there for Game 3"

Looked like it was his left leg but they are saying it?s the same calf? Hope he?s not laboring the rest of the way, his rim protection is invaluable.

Dallas blew it tonight just like Indiana last round?s Game 1

Very poor 3 point shooting. Jaylen 6 turnovers. Tatum shot poorly. Hauser the 3 point specialist awful. Good contributions from the star (Doncic) and role players. Had a lead early and was close for most of the 2nd half.

And they still couldn?t win.

I really doubt Boston is gonna shoot that poorly again. And btw, they still put up 105 tonight despite that

And so on.

Yes - I mentioned this in a thread yesterday.  It was suggested that this is happening with mobile devices, not laptops.  Idk if that?s true or why, or how it is fixed.

I don?t see it on my iPhone but I do see it in my PC sometimes.
Any odd typos are because I suck at typing on an iPhone :D

Happening for me on mobile & desktop (iPhone and Macbook). Peculiar.

I?m getting it on an iPhone in Safari.  Started over the weekend ? posts of mine that looked good on Friday now look crazy after someone replied to them.

Yesterday an apostrophe was several characters, now it?s a question mark.

EDIT ? Dashes and colons are also question marks.

Some examples of the ’ scenario, which appears to be for en-dashes:

Credit to Joe for doing a good job in gm 1. Sincerely hope he can counter whatever Kidd tries next.

That TO he called when we allowed the mavs to cut it to 8(should've called it earlier) was something many of his defenders told us was a waste of a TO. He's doing things now the way many of us asked him to do.  Last year he probably doesn't call that and we let go of the rope.

If your opinion is that he should have called it earlier then the timeout itself probably wasn't particularly impactful. Something you might realise if you'd actually followed the timeout discussion from last year in this thread.

No I think it might have not allowed it to get down so low. We don't know. What I do remember from last year's discussion was some pointless study being brought up as proof TO's don't help. Now, I"m not attributing the lead getting back up to 20 due to that TO, but taking it certainly didn't hurt.

I think he should've called that TO when the lead was trimmed from 21 to 17 lol. Not wait until 8 point deficit.

Don’t know if you’re serious, but Joe called a timeout 3 minutes earlier when the lead was cut from 21 to 16.

Here's some more examples from the Presidential Candidates thread:

I only see this on my PC, not on my Chrome browser on my iOS devices, but I see it on Safari.
