Looking back at the last game, BOS had 14 TOV to DAL 11.  Good to clean that up.  Tatum led all with 6, followed by Doncic with 4 and Irving with 3.  Doncic had 37.6% USG.  That probably doesn't change.

The big thing for DAL was only 9 asst for the team.  I wonder if they come out trying to move the ball more or if they stay with their Doncic focused offense.  The latter is fine with me, I don't think they can beat DAL with that approach.

Interesting to me BOS highest usage player was Porzingis at 34.9%  Tatum was second at 25.0%  I am not sure DAL was ready for Porzingis.

nah. they will stay doncic centered. it is the only shot they have. along with kyrie. keep the rest in check and make luka have to score 60 if they want to win. keep attacking luka and kyrie and make them play D. wear them down to where they are ineffective in the 4th quarter due to fatigue and having to play D.

boston has to stay aggressive and take what they give us. attack mismatches and move the ball.

Stats like this (or the 42-1 after up 2-0 in a series) make my jinx hairs stand on end.  We know all good things come to an end.   It's like saying 'he's made 10 FTs in a row' -- you know he's going to miss the next one.

yeah it really means nothing. each game is different. remember that old stat the celtics had never blown a 2-0 lead in the ECF or something like that? well we did blow it in 2018.

throw all that out the window and take this 1 game at a time.

If Boston comes out with the same defensive intensity as game 1 I think we win this. I don?t think they have an answer for us on defense.

My only fear is the game 2s against cavs and Miami where they shot generational from 3 and Boston couldn?t keep up. So maybe Dallas role players will hit a few more 3s

Going up 2-0 would be big because we WILL grab one in Dallas. But coming home game 5 up 3-1 a lot different than 2-2

Dallas got blown out in Game 1. They will make their adjustments. Mavs shooting 50% from 3. Jaden Hardy will go off for 29 points.

109-86 Mavericks. C's get overconfident after big Game 1 win and get lazy this game.

honestly thats my biggest fear in these games. if the refs call ticky tack fouls on us playing defense against luka/kyrie while not calling it on the other end.

To me this is the most important game in the series.  A lot of people are expecting a Celtics game 2 letdown and handing this game to Dallas since they've won all of their Game 2's on the road.  Defense is the key to winning it this year.  The C's will score 105+ even on poor shooting nights.  Outside of Q1 in game 1 the C's were rusty.  If the C's play the same D they did in game 1 then I predict a 112 to 104 win for the green team with better shooting for the C's and for Kyrie.  Luka will get his as usual.
