It isn't hindsight.  It's recognizing a problem in the moment.  We already saw the same thing play out in the first round, with Joe's slowness to react leading to increased severity of the calf injury.

If it was that bad, KP could've just fouled someone. Easy for us to recognize this kind of things from the luxury of our TV screen. People in the sidelines often don't see when someone is hurt right away, that's pretty much universal no matter who's the coach.

KP was limping sure, but he was still moving. It only because obvious when he jumped.

It's not like KP moves gracefully when he is healthy.

Almost no coach, to say none, sits a player, particularly one of your better players, because you are limping after a play unless it looks like it's persisting.

Heck the other day in the first quarter Luka was asking to get removed from the game and he didn't get his wish until a dead ball occurred and this is someone actually asking to come out.

So yeah, I think this expectation that someone is going to be removed from the game right away because of some limping is unreasonable particularly when they had the sub already at the scorers table to enter at next dead ball moment, when it didn't occur in a timely fashion a time out was called. In the 4th quarter mind you, when time outs are premium in a close game.

In all, a none issue as far as I'm concerned.

Gotta get one in Dallas

I'd be shocked if we don't get one in Dallas. This team is undefeated on the road in the playoffs

I'm pretty confident we will take at least one in Dallas - if we come back to Boston up 3-1 then I think this is done.  I don't think it's possible for the Mavs to win 3 straight against this team with or without Porzingis.  The talent disparity is just too great.

You can pretty much guarantee that one of Brown Tatum Jrue or White will get two quick fouls in game three. Maybe even two of them. They will call it tighter there I feel.

They'll send Scott Foster or Marc Davis next game.

Teams end up winning the finals 86% of the time when they're up 2-0.

Don't wanna be like that Suns team three years ago blowing that 2-0 lead. Remind them that 2-0 leads are not safe.

Giannis missed those two games didn't he?  Once he came back they won 4 in a row against an inferior team.

Can't remember. But inferior #1 seed of the West lol

I disagree actually.  KP moves really well for a 7-footer and moves like a butterfly by 7'3" standards.  He's impressively quick and agile for his size. It was pretty clear from the moment he got back up from that fall that he was not moving normally.

That being said it didn't LOOK severe, no dramatic limping or anything - seemed like he was just movign more slowly with a slight hint of a limp.

KP should be treated differently than other players.  You don't leave him in when he's limping.

With all that said, I wouldn't say he runs gracefully lol. But point taken.
