I’ll give the Pacers a lot of credit. They fought hard and took Boston to the brink in 3 of the games. No Halliburton and that team still battled to the very end. Their fanbase and players aren’t as annoying as others’ either.
The loud ones you hear aren't even Pacers fans. They are mostly Heat or Sixers fans. Those bunch cries the loudest

It’s mainly the heat losers crying. They are still fishing for validation after last year’s magical run.

But to be fair KP had a better regular season than Butler

Celtics deserve their roses for steamrolling the Eastern Conference. Now we await (presumably) Dallas.

With that said, credit to Indiana. I was never high on Siakam. He really impressed me all series. He won me over. TJ I always thought was a pesky little rascal that every team can use. He was excellent. I don’t like Nembhard because I recall him mouthing off earlier in the season for no good reason, but he played really well. Carlisle seems like a Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline..

But back to our C’s… 12 down, 4 to go! Nine days off. Let’s get KP healthy. Let’s get Hauser to find his stroke. Let Kornet’s ankle heal up. And practice our pick and roll defense.

Nembhard was great BUT he did these 3 things:

Game 1, he threw the ball inbounds that lead to the turnover, that lead to JB's game tying 3 pointer
Game 3, he let Holiday pick his pocket for the game winning steal.
Game 4, he got his layup Blocked by Brown, which lead to the C's final victory

Larry Bird was Greater than you think.

Interesting to see if he gets offered a max deal. I'm not sure a Halliburton/Siakam/Turner core is enough to make them true contenders. Obviously if Nembhard continues to go nuclear, they could try package him and Siakam for a superstar.

The media grasping onto a Dallas team that NO ONE cared about three weeks ago is amazing. I guess beating the youngest team in the NBA that had no idea what they were doing, beating a Wolves team that shot their wad vs Denver and beating an overrated Clippers team with no Leonard has earned them so much respect.

Let's just ignore the 64 win team that has beaten everyone and everything this season without one of their best players. That is 12-2 in the playoffs with no losses on the road.

I cannot wait to shove it up everyone's ass.

Hoping you are right on all counts. I'm very wary of Dallas right now, assuming they don't blow the 3-0 lead.

Could it be that Irving and Doncic have found their stride at just the right time, that Kyrie has decided to be a decent teammate for awhile to find out what that might be like and that Jason Kidd has learned just enough to be a help and not a hindrance for this team ?

Would hate to run into a suddenly hot team arriving at the finals with loads of momentum and confidence.
Kyrie will be highly motivated (though the Celts went overboard trying to accommodate that psycho) and they have been successfully executing in the 4th quarter, which can be our biggest weakness. If Irving comes out there with that stupid thurible of his, somebody on the Celtics needs to put him on his ass. If he steps on our logo again, somebody needs to punch him. Cedric Maxwell is still upset about that and even talked about it on a recent podcast. We need somebody like Max on this team !!
The Four Celtic Generals:
Russell - Cowens - Bird - Garnett

The Four Celtic Lieutenants:
Cousy - Havlicek - McHale - Pierce

NBA is all about matchups. its how the wolves beat Denver but then are getting trounced by the Mavs. If it was denver/dallas I doubt the result is the same.

Kyrie/Luka are playing better than Ant/towns. thats honestly all the series is. if one of your stars is shooting 30% and 16% from 3 its hard to win. Also Mavs outperformed them in crunchtime.

but haven't the celtics proven we can be clutch in crunchtime too?

Kendrick Perkins is officially out of the Celtics family.

What a jackass.
