The media grasping onto a Dallas team that NO ONE cared about three weeks ago is amazing. I guess beating the youngest team in the NBA that had no idea what they were doing, beating a Wolves team that shot their wad vs Denver and beating an overrated Clippers team with no Leonard has earned them so much respect.

Let's just ignore the 64 win team that has beaten everyone and everything this season without one of their best players. That is 12-2 in the playoffs with no losses on the road.

I cannot wait to shove it up everyone's ass.

I’ll give the Pacers a lot of credit. They fought hard and took Boston to the brink in 3 of the games. No Halliburton and that team still battled to the very end. Their fanbase and players aren’t as annoying as others’ either.

The loud ones you hear aren't even Pacers fans. They are mostly Heat or Sixers fans. Those bunch cries the loudest

I'm not sure that would even help. I think it's a "game pressure" situation, and he's in his own head. And I'm not sure how much Boston can keep running him out there if he's not doing the one thing he usually does well.

No excuses this year. The reigning champ is out, and the Cs will most likely be facing the West's No. 5 team. We all know what Luka and Kyrie can do, but the Cs have more playoff and NBA Finals experience than this Mavs team, and had a 2-1 lead on the mighty Warriors just two Finals ago before falling apart. They will, however, need to get their focus a bit sooner than the last few minutes of the game.

Um, we won the game.

But also a jumper in that spot takes more time (it’s in the air longer than a layup) and if you miss the rebound is also likely to take more time before it’s recovered.  Further, it is easier to have the defense set to prevent a fast break.  A rebound off a missed layup can result in a quick outlet for an open 3.  It was absolutely the correct decision.

Tatum took 11 shots in the restricted area and drew one foul.  He wasn’t getting a call on a drive in that situation the way the refs had called the game.  It also took 25 seconds from the Celtics inbound to the Holiday rebound.  A layup attempt absolutely would have taken less time and given the Pacers more time if they get a rebound.  Once Indy decided they weren’t fouling and were going to just let the C’s jack one with a few seconds left on the clock? It was the right play.  The stupid play was Indy not fouling.
