I have no idea what to make of this series, lol.  We're so close to being down 1-3.  Instead it's 4-0 and we have a nice long rest before the Finals.  Credit to Indy for testing us a lot harder than the sweep would suggest.

Four left!

I think our 4 game sweep of the Nets a couple of years back was similar - from what I recall 2 or 3 of those games were right down to the wire.

Credit to Brad for buliding this team though, and for the guys for pulling through.  Tonight it was White with the game winning three, another day it was JB wiht the buzzer beater to force overtime and Tatum/Jrue with the game winning three + stop, another game it was Horford making the big plays,  When it has come to crunch time every single one of our starters has made game winning plays in this series.

Oh.  And I just want to thank the basketball gods for letting us survive that series without Nesmith injuring one of our players.  I'd appreciate his energy if his recklessness didn't put other players in actual danger.

You know, this team has been far from perfect and is well deserving of criticism...but the biggest praise I can give them is when it has come down to the final 1.5 - 2 minutes of every game they have consistently made the big plays on both ends of the floor to close things out.

And that is NOT something I've been able to say about this Celtics team in past years.  I really believe if this was last year's team we would be at best 2-2 or maybe even 1-3 by this point.

Yup we were far from perfect, I would have preferred a 30 point thrashing where there were zero mistakes but it’s not easy to win games not playing well. We were forced to dig deep and deal with pressure and we won the most important minutes in a close game…the last couple of minutes.

They didn’t give up even though they kept missing and kept making mistakes, gotta give them credit for thst. They showed resilience. Last season they would probably have folded.
Any odd typos are because I suck at typing on an iPhone :D

Celtics deserve some respect. Don’t think there is another team in the nba that would have swept those Pacers in a 7 game series.
Team is getting it done and proving they know how to close games.

Also ….not a huge fan of the owner getting the trophy first.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Shout out to JB for a fantastic 2nd half after starting slow.  He won us this game.  He made the key drive and dish to DWhite's corner 3 that gave us the lead.

And the block on Nembhard!!

True dat.

Jaylen slow start but turned it up and led the Cs in points. Clutch again offensively and defensively.

Indy was terrific. On the downside, hated a lot of possessions tonight - still way too much time getting the offense started.
