Pumped for JB. Well deserved.

I agree. As much as I have criticized him, he is playing a little smarter and at least is a tough competitor.
Plus, he seems to be the only guy who will face down opponents when there is a confrontation.
The Four Celtic Generals:
Russell - Cowens - Bird - Garnett

The Four Celtic Lieutenants:
Cousy - Havlicek - McHale - Pierce

Loved seeing JB's face light up when he got that award, haha.

He was a force in this series. Just unstoppable in space

He probably cares about that more than the All NBA team voting

Another perspective also on this playoff run - people have quick to hate on the Celtics for having an easy run with so many opposing players out, but something to consider is that this is the playoffs.  A lot of it comes down to watching film, studying your opponent, making adjustments, and learning how to take advantage of their weaknesses and minimise their strength.

When a team suddenly loses a key player their talent level might go down, but it also often massively changes the way that team plays.  Guys emerge who normally don't get much playing time, teams often share the ball more and play better team ball rather then watching their stars ISO, and in many cases a team can completely change their play style.

If anything the Cavs losing Mitchell mid series and Pacers losing Haliburton mid series probably made things harder for the Celtics, berceuse not you need to re-think all the planning you've done and readjust all over again to the new play style of the team.

So happy to see Horford and Jrue, going back to the NBA Finals again. These two are hella vets.

Interesting little tidbit - this is the one year anniversary of the White game-winner against Miami last year.

May 27th is officially Derrick White day in Boston!

Glad JB won the series MVP. Thought it was close between him and Tatum but tie goes to the guy who hit the most clutch shot of the series.

Its going to be a reach fun Finals, really hope KP is good to go for game 1.

Cavs and Pacers and Heat had time to prep when Porzingis was for sure out, but the hate was just burying on Boston
