I will say that FT disparity is insane lol

But the C’s have been on the opposite side of that spectrum many times too so whatever

Indiana really hasn’t had much trouble scoring on this team all year. They will keep coming and Horford playing every other day is far from ideal. At least the C’s closed it out. That Brown shot was lucky though. I’ll take it lol

Not luck. Cs played a pretty poor game most of the night - never should have let Indy have a chance to win. But in the end they made it happen.  Some clutch there tonight. One close playoff game, one win.

We’ve been waiting for this team to step up with the pressure in crunch time
Considering the lack of close finishes in the first 2 rounds (not to mention the regular season)- them stepping up was a very pleasant surprise.

In some ways it's good to see us win a game we had to fight like hell for.  I'd rather we not rely on the other team choking to bail us out in the future, though.

7 more.  I want all of them, no matter how ugly they are or how much hair I lose as a result.

Did Indy really choke in regulation, though? Jaylen played incredible defense to force that TO on Siakam and then he hit an amazing off-balance 3. To me, that is taking the game away from the other team, not them choking.

And then in OT, talent and execution took over.

I thought the Pacers made several unforced errors at the end of regulation and OT to cough up a game they should have won.  I credit JB for making a great play on that TO, but a bad inbounds pass was the reason he was in position to make it.

I won't die on that hill though.  JB was brilliant when we needed him most.  Not my intent to take that away from him.

We stole their soul.

I'm curious as to how Indy responds to this loss. Is it a demoralizing loss, or do they believe they can play toe to toe with Boston.

Definitely a tough pill to swallow for Indy but I'd feel pretty good about it.  Boston could have played much better, but Indy could have also.  They shot the ball very well, but the turnovers did them in.

The shot was great. So were the Haliburton heaves at the end of the half and third.

Can we pretty pretty pretty please 5 out and go to Jrue in the post next game over and over again against TJ and/or Nembhard?

We can literally play either of those guys off the court. Jrue is a bully and monster in the post and neither of those guys can guard him. It’d so baffling to me why we don’t go to that more often. He did have a stretch where he went on a mini 7-0 run by himself but that wasn’t by design. We need to go to that by design more.
