Hopefully the C’s got the rust off and will look better game 2. Man, that was stressful.  :P

The C's class showed itself when it counted. From the time Jaylen knocked the ball out of (I believe) Siakam's hands to set up the tying 3, they dominated the game. Jrue was fantastic.  And White too.

In some ways it's good to see us win a game we had to fight like hell for.  I'd rather we not rely on the other team choking to bail us out in the future, though.

7 more.  I want all of them, no matter how ugly they are or how much hair I lose as a result.

Did Indy really choke in regulation, though? Jaylen played incredible defense to force that TO on Siakam and then he hit an amazing off-balance 3. To me, that is taking the game away from the other team, not them choking.

And then in OT, talent and execution took over.

This was a team win, but all the JB haters better calm down for a few days after he scored the last 5 points of the game to get us into OT.
Multiple great def plays by JB, Jrue, Dwhite...

We have to beat this team with our defensive effort, they are too talented in a free flowing game to try to just outscore them.

Defense is the key!!!!

Maybe they got lucky but the C’s did make some clutch plays in a close game. First time in a while and in a huge spot. Good sign

We stole their soul.

I'm curious as to how Indy responds to this loss. Is it a demoralizing loss, or do they believe they can play toe to toe with Boston.

Series changing win.  No one expected Indy to win game 1.  They carried their crazy shooting over from game 7.  I expect a big celtics win in game 2.  Bring on the ESPN haters.  Even though the Cs won they will talk about how they barely won.

you  have to give credit to the Pacers, who played tougher on def than we expected, and who never stopped moving without the ball and played incredible offensive basketball, but we were better and found a way to win!  This was an incredible game.
