Juan Nunez looks like heading to Barca,

https://basketnews.com/news-207112-juan-nunez-is-reportedly-heading-to-barcelona.html

would not be a bad option as a euro stash especially if his shot came good.

Looking over the players hoopshype has reported the Cs to have worked out it looks like they are focused on adding another wing with some size. These are the four players I see most likely for the Cs to draft in the order I would rank them on a Celtics board.

Harrison Ingram is 21 and is 6'5.25" (without shoes) 234lbs and a 7'0.25" wingspan (nearly identical to Draymond Green). He has improved as a shooter in college and this past season (his first at UNC) shot 38% from 3 on 169 attempts. He is an elite rebounder who previously spent a decent amount of time as a primary ballhandler for Stanford. He is my preferred Cs target out of the group they have worked out and in general out of the players mocked after pick 25. His size would be unique to the roster since they traded away Grant and his well rounded skill set could allow him to contribute early in his career. He also fits the general profile of players BS has liked in the draft in that he has ++ length is young for his class and was a 5 star high school recruit.

Justin Edwards, is like Walsh last draft is a ?pre draft? guy. If he stayed in college he is a player I could easily see putting up much better numbers and making himself a top 20 pick. He is 20yrs old and measured 6?6 210 with 6?10ws. His production was clearly affected by playing with Dillingham, Sheppard and Reeves. As the former ESPN #3 player in his recruiting class the talent is their to be developed.

Scheierman
at almost 24 is an older draft prospect who is a great if not elite shooter who showed some ability to create of the dribble prior to going to Creighton. At 6'6.25" (without shoes) 201lbs with a 6'8.25"wingspan he would be joining the roster to mimic Hauser's role.

Ryan Dunn is 21 6'6.25" 214lbs with 7'1.25"WS, he is an ELITE defensive prospect who is a non shooter and a liability on offense. Drafting Dunn is taking a home run swing that he can develop an outside shot despite his college stats not favoring that outcome.

Enrique Freeman he is an older prospect at nearly 24 but one with a unique backround. Was was a walk on at Akron who is reported to have grown 4" from the end of his highschool basketball season to the start of his college career. He not stants 6'7.25 at 212lbs with a 7'2" wingspan. He played mostly Center at Akron but appears to move well enough to transition into being a solid perimeter defender. He didnt shoot a lot from the outside in college but his 36% from 3 and 73% from FT indicate he should be able to shoot in the NBA.

For players who have not worked out for the Cs (that we know of)
I also wanted to add the interesting wrinkle that G-League Ignite big man Tyler Smith was not invited to the Green room. The green room list was the NBAs perceived top 25. Should he fall to 30 the 6'9 224lb 7'1ws 19 year old would be a great swing for the fences pick. He has already shown he can hit from the NBA 3 at 36% on 4 attempts per game and is an athletic lob threat. He would be a player to develop for the post AL years.

The focus needs to be on PF/C, ideally a Horford replacement

If Filipowski some how slips he would be a great option, as I said Tyler Smith could also be a great option. The only other big I see on the board at 30 or later who I think could crack the rotation down the road is Bona. I?ve always been high on Bona but post playoff run I do worry if he will have enough perimeter skill to fit on this Celtics team.

Of the players worked out Mogbo is an interesting small 5.

Not listed yet by hoopshype but Pacome Dadiet is reported to have worked out for Cs. Interesting prospect at 6?9 212 and only 18 he has a lot of upside. He had good shooting splits in limited minutes and looks to have a nice off the dribble game. Also had a nice combination of a 8?11 reach and 36? vertical so he is explosive.  Wish he was longer with just a 6?9 wingspan.

i just watched some highlights of  Pacome Dadiet  and i was impressed. it is highlights, but he shoot very well from all over the court, seems to pass well, and what little of there was of his defense showed him moving his feet and having active hands.

celtics take him, maybe stash him for a year. he is only 19 years old.

tp for brining him up in this thread.

giving a last look at the hoopshype workout list it looks like Ajay Mitchell, AJ Johnson and Cam Christie have all been added.

Of the 3 Cam Christie seems like a real possibility at #30. He is the brother of Lakers player Max Christie and is actually younger entering the draft with identical measurements and better stats. His brother was drafted 35th pick in the 2022 draft and has shown promise in his time with the Lakers. He has traditional SG size at 6'4.5" without shoes 190lbs and a 6'8" wingspan. By comparision D White was 6'3.25, 190lb, with 6'7.25" wingspan at his combine. He projects to be a high end shooter.
