Really good half by Tatum. Playing aggressive and limiting his bad jumpshots with 18 points, while also doing everything else with 7 rebounds and 3 assists and great defense.

Honestly, with Mitchell scoring 23, being up by 9 at halftime on the road is pretty dang good. As long as we continue to limit the others, let Mitchell get his and don't overreact to him going off. But don't just switch bigs on him unnecessarily and grant him easy pull ups.

Getting it done...Cs win 1st and 2nd quarter.

Yeah I think overall, we are playing well.   We are hitting shots, we are contesting pretty well.  I wish we would solve our pick and roll def a bit better against these guys, but a 9 point lead at half, I will take it!!!

All star Tatum is back carrying the team.
Brown's playing a solid game.
Jrue's shots are falling. Good for him.
White looks tentative after the travelling call on him early in the game. He needs to regain his composure.

The Cs are leading by 8.

Things to work on, but that was a good half in a hostile environment.

Mitchell beasting as usual but so is Tatum, and unlike Game 2 but like Game 1 we're limiting all their other options. Have a strong 3rd and put them away

Where’s this super team ive heard so much about
Not a super team without Porzingis.

So kristaps porzingis makes us a super team? lol
Does Jared Allen make the cavs a super team too?

Some top notch basketball analysis there, Scary.

I mean clearly I was being sarcastic, I’ve been adamant all year we are not a super team, and frankly Jarett* Allen is as important to the cavs as kristaps is to us and these teams seem pretty evenly matched if you ask me

Cleveland looks wildly overmatched to me. Can't keep pace with BOS. On pace to get blown out if their supporting don't start stepping up soon.

…it’s a 9 point game and the Celtics have played about as hard as I’ve seen all playoffs and the cavs can’t do anything outside of Mitchell…is this good or bad?
Without question Cleveland should be overmatched i just haven’t seen that thus far

Need more from our bigs.  Horford has been silent.

I'm not so sure about Kornet in this series.  He'd have been playable if J Allen was healthy.  But without him I think Tillman is a better choice off the bench in most situations.

Just cannot guard Mitchell. He just owns the Celtics.

Garland has do more than 2-6 for 6pts and 3ast against 2 TOV. He is their only other quality creator other than D Mitchell. He has to give him some help. And he has to steady the team when D Mitchell rests.

The only other guy with any creation abilities are LeVert who is inconsistent and having one of his disappearing games. He is only a marginal creator anyways.

Garland is the guy. He has to be an 18-20ppg 7-8apg threat.

The other guys are just spot up shooters or dunkers. Occassionally Mobley will show something but you can't rely on him offensively. It has got to be Garland.

It can't be a one-half show from Tatum. He needs to deliver in the 2nd half as well and guide us to 2-1.
