I will believe when I see it...

Jared Greenberg
@JaredSGreenberg
During a brief chat with Kristpas Porzingis he proclaimed,?I?ll be back this series?.

I'm not sure what can realistically change.  From what I've read, this isn't the type of injury that heals without surgery.

I?ve read the same.  He might make some last-ditch attempt to give us what he has left if things go sideways in this series, but I suspect it?d be like OG Anunoby trying to play for NYK in G7 against Indiana.

I think this series is coming back to Boston 2-2.

Dallas has lost every game 4 at home this playoffs. I think at worst it will be 3-1 Boston.
So do I.  Already won two series in 5 and 4 games without KP.

They were also missing Donovan Mitchell, Jarrett Allen, Caris LaVert, and Tyrese Haliburton

Only for 3/5 games in Cleveland's case (Mitchell) and 2/4 games in Indiana's case (Haliburton).

And I actually think Indiana played just as well - if not better - without Haliburton.  They scored just as many points, and scoring is how Indiana wins games.

We're up 3-0. I think we should be good tbh even if he's out this series.

Agree. Barring any scenario where we reach a Game 6, KP should just heal up.

Yeah and I?ll be real, Tillman was great tonight in his role. Nothing flashy but good contributions and wasn?t a liability at all

More worrying about nothing. The Celtics are on fire.
The only real mistake is the one from which we learn nothing.

I wonder if he can without surgery? Hope he can play again next season too. .  He needs his own team of doctors to see about him daily.

The anatomy of KP just doesn?t seem like it?s made for the rigors of the NBA. Like Rob.  Play him once a week next season.

I know your only half joking.

If it means we get him for all of next year's playoffs, play him once a month.

The east will be stronger next year.

I absolutely love KP and understand why you make the Smart deal, but we are likely going to need to be extremely careful with him next season. And then possibly use his contract to replace him and Al next offseason (I think Al comes back for another year next year).

We took all precautions possible this year and we still only got 5 playoff games out of him (only two full games). It?s amazing we?ve been able to get this far basically without him, but it?s going to be difficult to have full trust in him moving forward

Chances KP making it though 82 games next season and not getting hurt are about as good as if he crossed Madison Ave blind folded every day at noon.

Maybe play him every second game during regular season and then only 25 minutes a game till playoffs .

Incredible courage in such a frail body.

Agree. My frustration is that I thought that we were careful with him this year and we still managed to lose him for most of the playoffs. At least one of the injuries may have been rare, but so are players with the physical stature of KP.

Check out Wembanyama's weird stretching routine to avoid going down the KP path.

Brad?s number one priority is finding a big that can shoot from three to add to the bench next season as insurance for KP.
