oe Mazzulla said the medical staff felt Kristaps Porzingis didn?t look right:

?It was out of his hands, it was the medical team?s [decision]. They watched him go through some testing and they said it didn?t feel right.?

It didn't look/feel right because it was his left leg that's injured

Well, that makes sense. IDK if that means he's done for the season but I have to suspect he is. It isn't going to get better or heal anytime soon.

It's a major bummer but it's just the way sports go sometimes.

I expect he is going to need surgery and one more day off isn't going to make much of a difference at all for game 4.

What we see tonight is probably what we have to roll with.

Dallas has lost every game 4 at home this playoffs. I think at worst it will be 3-1 Boston.

Boston Celtics center Kristaps Porzingis is listed as questionable for Game 3 of the NBA Finals against the Dallas Mavericks, but he was the first player on the court for the team's shootaround on Wednesday. Porzingis did not appear to be limping and was not wearing a brace, according to multiple reports.

I feel like he?s going to play even if it?s 10-15minutes. Or is it me?

The doctors definitely already know if he can or not. I mean he was at shoot around today and I?m sure ran through drills.

+1, I think he is playing too.  I mentioned it in the game thread.   Feels like he is out there at least 10 min just for decoy purposes alone at least.

I was completely wrong lol.   Maybe they knew he was out the whole time?

I'm not sure what can realistically change.  From what I've read, this isn't the type of injury that heals without surgery.

Yep. I don't think a few more days off does anything.

Ugh, this sucks. I don?t see how he returns if he can?t play right now.

Really, really need to get one of these two games.

So do I.  Already won two series in 5 and 4 games without KP.

He proclaims he will be out there sometime in this series, and will "die out there for Game 3"

But according to Woj and medical docs...they're saying otherwise.
