Somebody will eventually come back from down 0-3, not sure its going top be the Wolves but if you were going to pick a team it would be a team with home court in games 5 and 7.

Haliburton "what I've understood more than anything is usually in the playoffs the healthier team wins."

Taking a subtle shot at Boston and making excuses after the L lol. But what about the Pacers, who were even worse when they beat up a banged up Bucks team and a Knicks team without 5 players lol

I love how Porzingis's absence is just dismissed as a big nothing.  Take 20 PPG and a couple of blocks off any team and see how they respond.  Celtics depth is held against them in the public/media eye.  We're a much better tram with a healthy Porzingis.
Yup

On one hand, it sucks that we still have to wait 8 more long days until the Finals

But on the other... it still is way better than having a potential Game 5 tonight if we had lost Games 3 or 4. At least we officially clinched our Finals spot already

Has the basketball world just purposely overlooked a 21 and 7 7'3 rim protector and 3 point assassin being out? Why isn't this narrative being pushed?

Just win the whole thing.

Just out of curiosity, but is anyone here actually going to any of the Finals games? And if so, approximately how much did you get the tickets for?

My sis and I are thinking about *maybe* going to a game, maybe Game 5? Admittedly prices are insane as expected lol

I'd love to go to one of the Finals games. I took my son to Boston for a vacation 3 years ago and while we were there i got tickets to a Bruins playoff game against Washington.

We took Amtrak from Philly to Boston. We got there in about 5 hours. The train tickets weren't cheap and neither were the Bruins tickets but it was worth it.

The Healthier Team aka the Indiana Pacers lost game 1 and 2 before Haliburton was out.

Celtics are being penalized in the media for playing 3 teams with their best players out. This is unfair. Building a team with real depth is part of the sport and really all major sports. C’s have also been down a key starter but have survived based on their depth. Front office success is part of the competition.

I think Haliburton is conceding that IND was the healthier team vs. MIL and NYK.  He is definitely implying that if IND was healthier than BOS, that they would win, which is not true, but I don't take that as his point.

It is true that health is a factor in the playoffs.  It is also true that the Celtics had an easier path due to injuries on the other teams.  More so than any other team, but injuries are a factor in every series.

The Celtics have more good players than any other team.  So the national fans look at the Celtics without Porzingis and still see a really good team.  But Porzingis is an important loss.  Having him available improves the team quite a bit.  All these other fans are going to learn that soon enough.

if you want to play that game-The Celts hang another banner if Perk was healthy and played in game seven against the lakers during the Kevin Garnett era.
