Tillman is our best PnR defender out of the Kornet, Queta, Tillman options. Tillman might do better in a switching scheme than trying to hang back and stop lobs. He is our best switching defensive big.

So the question with Tillman is this: Does whatever he gives you on defense make up for being absolutely awful on offense? With Luka and Kyrie I don't really think you completely shut them down, you slow them down then outscore them. I don't think Tillman will factor in much at all if Horford and KP are Healthy.

If Porzingis can give at least 15 minutes a night, we won’t see anyone past the top 8.  And if KP can go 30, we might not see Hauser either on some nights.  Tillman, Kornet, Brissett — none of them are playing except for a random possession at the end of a quarter where we try to steal a few seconds of rest for someone.

Al said last night the finals in 2022 were overwhelming. Had two tough 7 game series then right into the finals way out west.

Team wasn’t prepared on how to handle everything. This year is different because they time to celebrate, prepare and rest. Experience is the best teacher.

The confidence here will wane quickly as it does whenever 
 the Cs lose a game - as they undoubtedly will in the finals.  Dallas looks good to me and Lively is a dangerous x-factor. Gafford also a presence in the middle defensively, on the boards, and finishing oops nicely served by Luka when he draws multiple defenders. PJ will get open looks and we’ll see if he can continue to drain threes.  I have no prediction, but I’m pretty nervous about facing a confident Mavs team.
