I think Game 1 is a prime opportunity for Miami to steal one, given that the Cs will have been off a full week and will likely be rusty.

Miami put so much into that play in game vs the bulls. They are due for an emotional letdown.

Plus this is the 3rd game in 5 days with 2 travel days in between. I could see the heat being a bit flat.

Celtics are favored -3.5 games for the series.  That’s kinda crazy.

So a 4-0 sweep wins the bet but 4-1 or anything else and house wins?  That is tough.  Sweeps are tough.

Yup.  Just based on the pride Miami showed winning the play in game easily without Butler, and their coaching, you know they’re going to put up an effort.
Yup

They are apparently favored by 13 for Game 1 which is crazy to me.

I think a bettor is more inclined to take +13.5 with Miami. It'll be a close game like all Game 1's with Boston. Miami might even win outright...no road team has won a playoff game yet this year which is quite concerning for the moneymaking Vegas biz

Boston wins game 1 by like 20. Game 2 will be the close one

I am fine with winning this in 7, just take care of the HCA, that has to be the case. On a serious note, if Butler doesn't play, this has to be done in 5 at worst. With Butler it is closer to 6 than 7, Miami's zone defense will probably give us trouble.

No rust. Hope they keep the foot on the gas all game. No let up. Humiliate them.

Good start to the series. Fell asleep in the 4th but overall had an awesome start and built a 30+ point lead despite being far from perfect. C's should be able to overwhelm this team, they don't have the horses.

Just keep it going the whole game. We are going to pass Miami, that is not the question, but we have to work on not letting up 15-0 runs to the opponent, no matter who they are. We are too good of a team to allow that and bring the opponent back into the game.
It always starts with dribbling the air out of the ball, guys, keep swinging that thing, drive and kick.

Celtics in the last two postseasons were a combined 10-12 at home.

So far, they are 1-1.

TD Garden really isn't some homecourt advantage anymore which is frankly kinda ridiculous.

I thought the series would go at least 5 games but I didn't think the Celtics would lose game 2 at home after losing only 4 games in the regular season. The Celtics didn't have any urgency in this game but they better pick it up with the next 2 in Miami. Before they know it they could be in a deep hole.

But really this team doesn't surprise me anymore. They don't know how to put teams away and their coach is in over his head.

Absolutely. I have more confidence in them playing abroad then at home.

Heat Culture was too much for the Celtics to handle.

They have the momentum heading back to Miami. Don't know if I can count on the Celtics to make any swing here.

The Celtics have put pressure on themselves.  Now they need to win 2 in MIA to reassert their position as a title contender.  To me, even a split in MIA will not restore my confidence fully.
