Kornet looked bad tonight...must have Tillman on his mind.

He wasn't a good fit in the game and not as the second of two bigs against no bigs. That's on Joe. Tillman could've played that role because he can guard up and down.

Porzingis looks so happy playing here and he truly is the difference

Oh, he is.. KP was just saying the other day how much he loves playing for Joe. Said it’s like a dream.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

This is a game I think that the Celtics would have lost last year. This year, when the C's play badly KP can bail them out.

Tillman wasn’t available tonight.  Also, they were a +4 in Luke’s 11 minutes, and +0 in the other 37, so it’s not like playing Luke was the actual problem tonight.

The problem was mental again in all likelihood...they were just collectively slow to defend in transition, struggled with the Wizards' speed, and got lit up in the first half. First quarter the Wiz scored 18 transition points. The second half they were a lot better and forced the Wiz into halfcourt a lot more but in the 4th quarter when they got the lead, they relaxed with a couple minutes to go and the Wiz shot 7-14 from 3, esp, Coulibaly, Kispert and Avidja. We only shot 3 of 6 so it was a 12 point disparity even though we shot the same number of field goals in the quarter overall.

Thanks OZ.

And don't think I don't appreciate another one of your smart-ass replies, Liam.
I'm happy for the win as well, but 42 points in one quarter is a wild aberration, even for a good team.

All true.  Jaylen’s been more focused defensively and on the boards as well. And recently gets the award for not over-shooting the three.

The iso stepback three from Tatum - so predictable - is my least favorite shot this year. When JT is fiddling around the line and you know he’s going shoot, I almost feel the way I used to when Marcus hoisted the long ball.
