KP and JT with great games ....minus the turnovers.

We played ball for one quarter, coasted the rest of the way, and it was enough to win.

Hope we take Miami a little bit more seriously.  Our refusal to run the floor defensively had me feeling some things in the first half.

Payton is a real plus to have come off the bench.

Pritchard had a nice game. they need to let him play the point more. He gets downhill and into the defense whenever he wants.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

The W is all that matters.  But we've got a lot to clean up.  That really was not an acceptable 1st half.  We didn't just get outplayed, we got outhustled.  Seemed incapable of matching their energy.  The Wizards wanted it more.

But very good adjustments in the 2nd half.  More defensive pressure on pick and rolls.  Less emphasis on the 3 point shot.  Joe and co. finally realized that we were scoring at will in the paint, and by putting the ball in the basket we'd prevent transition basketball which was a battle we were losing.  That said, playing Kornet this game made absolutely no sense.  Joe coached a subpar game overall.
