Most of them were wide open threes by the Laker. Lazy offense + lazy defense will always be a disaster. This third quarter will be crucial.

Reaves and Russell just lighting us up from 3
geez this is no fun to watch.  cmon celtics, do something to impact the game.

The Celtics could guard the 3 point line instead of everyone collapsing on every drive.

You people are hilarious. The Clippers game a few nights ago was absolutely horrific and they lost by 40. They are bad tonight but it's not even close to the Clippers or even Bucks game a month ago  :P

Brown, KP, and Holiday all with 3 TOs each and 10 points among them. Completely unacceptable.

I really dislike this team

Absolutely no guts whatsoever

14 points down at home

It all starts with  the Jays. They talk tough but soft inside.

All right. Let’s see how they respond. This game is not over. They have made it very hard on themselves with some horrible play. But the Lakers won’t shoot that well in the second half and we won’t turn over the ball that much.

Everyone of those starters should be benched

This is unacceptable. Predictable and just embarrassing

Holiday, Brown and Porzingis all had three TO. White had two. Tatum one. Thats 12 TO's from your starters. Team high is 20 for the season.

Combine that with getting outshot from three 13-25 vs 7-23 and you have a recipe for a big deficit.

Well we (or I, anyway) wanted to see them put under pressure and now they are, largely self inflicted…I’m anxious to see how they will respond with one half in the books. 12 turnovers, 40% shooting, missing layups…their hated foes the Fakers shooting 50% from 3. Joe wanted them to be put under pressure let’s see if they can dig themselves out of this hole.

Tatum has to wake up…Tatum and Brown need to impose themselves on this game

Ugly.

My daughter was looking forward to this game all day.  She's disgusted.  I tried to prepare her ahead of time.

I feel bad for the fans who paid $300+ per ticket.

Well that's not the first half I hoped to see.

Three-point era gives severely-outgunned teams a win condition in the modern NBA.  Just launch and hope for a statistical anomaly.  And we're playing right into the strategy by giving them a lot wide open ones with poor defensive effort.  Vanderbilt's nonshooting ass hitting two corner threes is one thing, but what exactly did we think Reaves was going to try to do tonight?

But none of that touches on the carelessness with the basketball that we showed.  12 turnovers.  Again:  that's how an outgunned team can win.

Frustrating.

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
The 3s are frustrating and the TOs are horrific. But 46 points? We really just scored 46 points against a below .500 Lakers team without their 2 all stars?

The bench totally out played the starters.

They will. The 3's are falling for them, and the turnovers continue to pile up.

And the C's play really horrible in the 3rd quarter. Nothing's changed with this team
