Celtics just letting the lakers do anything they want.

I hope the lakers 3 point shooting levels out

They're just packing the paint on us and doubling Tatum, daring the rest of the others to just shoot ourselves out of the game. And we look perfectly happy to oblige them.  >:(

This strategy def works against the C's. And the Lakers counter by making their 3's. Embarrassing.

Celtics will win but it’s not going to be easy as we all hoped for.

I don’t know if there’s ever an easy game though…unless it’s those games where we shoot 50% from 3 and they shoot 20%  :police:

This might have been what mazzulla was talking about…expecting the team to win by 30 each time. This team is good but not that good

The thing is, this team is good enough, in terms of talent and athleticism.
Our problem is mental.

That’s the case with most teams though…it’s the mental side thst differentiates the champions. which is why I don’t mind them being put in these situations where they get punched in the mouth or play bad and get put under pressure early. That’s the only way they will learn to deal with it, or the staff work out who can’t deal with it and ship them out…

I don’t think we or they learn that much when they are shooting 50% from 3 and winning by 30 it’s the tough games, esp from unexpected, underrated opponents like these where they have to mentally recalibrate from expecting a cakewalk to being in a dogfight

Agreed. My concern is that Joe is too clueless to stress that point to his players and they are apparently too dumb to figure it out for themselves.

I don't think I've ever heard a professional announcer make as many mistakes as I hear Kevin Harlan make.

Reggie earlier said Queta didn't get much opportunity with us off the bench last year, because Joe didn't trust the bench.

Queta played in Sacramento all last year.

Brown almost committed another turnover had Joe not called a timeout. So much for the 280 mio player.

A 7’5 center that can post anyone up at will but won’t get in the paint. Same with Tatum

Just keep shooting themselves out of the game

And the lakers can’t miss from 3

Lakers are 10/21 from 3, so being down 5 honestly is a miracle. Got to hope they can cool down a bit.

Porzingis needs to dominate the Lakers, they don't even have AD out there today

This one’s on the players. 10 turnovers.
