Okay I generally have less to say about the three-point philosophy than a lot of people on this site.  But passing up an open layup for a rushed three is pretty hard to stomach.

infuriating

this ignorant mentality from coaching has permeated the players brains.

White has been brutally bad for like a month now.

He's had a few god games in January, but a lot more 2-12, 1-8 type games, mixed in there. 50% TS in Since late December.

Holy hell, Jrue. Are you serious? Are we really going to throw away every single attempt at the rim if there's a kick out to a three? My God what a stupid approach we have.

just coming into the game thread after work, so it sounds like we didn't play great so far huh?
Dwhite seems to be hitting a bit of an offensive slump right now.  I think he will pull out of it.

Either this team is extremely lazy or just truly stupid. The decision making and the stupid shot selection

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
Agree that Jrue should have taken the lay-up, but White’s play of late is concerning. To think that there was actually some all-star chatter with him a month or so ago.

With no KP and White sucking, we’re really just an average team. Not surprising a fully healthy Pelicans team is taking it to us right now. They are good

That was absolutely agonizing.

Passing up layups for 3’s. I hate this new NBA!

You and me both.  The best play of that half was JB bulldozing his way towards the basket against McCollum and scoring against him easily in the paint.

Which is why we really have to question Brad's judgement - what could he have been thinking to sign off on this guy for another season.

I AGREE. made great player acquisitions. keeping joe really handicaps us and puts us behind the 8 ball. we will have to win IN SPITE of joe and it is real hard to do especially in playoffs
