Best win of the season tonight. Everyone stepped up to compensate for not having Jaylen or Porzingis.
And Philly didn't play poorly. Joe coached a good game too.

Best win of the year in my book. Undermanned vs the hottest team in the East. Good to knock Philly down a peg. Derrick White was MVP in my book.

Al has a legitimate argument too with his Embiid defense, 5 blocks (!), and 4 big threes.
Huge contributions from Big Al at both ends

Am I correct in thinking that Al guards Embiid better than anyone? Embiid still does damage because he's so good, but it seems like Al really limits the damage.

Now the Celtics are the best team in the East, after getting revenge and beating the 76ers in Wells Fargo Arena.

Everyone bask in the Sixers fans' agony to this loss! They deserve it after all the smack they talked after last game when they barely won after both the Jays had awful games.

Doris Burke is on suicide watch tonight.

Now that Adams is out for the season, it's possible. Lopez did a good job on him last season, too.

That said, he hung 52 points on us back in April - and last night (where he went 20-9-7) is only the second time he's scored fewer than 25 points against us since 2021 - and he's got better averages against us than his career numbers, so I'm not sure guarding him better than anyone means much.

Do you think it is a strength thing? He gives up alot of height and length and size to Embiid. Obviously there is the defensive savy aspect, but great defensive centers get abused by Embiid all the time (Gobert in particular.)

Al never locks him down, but he does better than most.

This team feels different this year. Hauser seems to be gaining confidence as does PP. Not turning it over is nice also.

Who said Kornet can’t rebound  :police:

Two offensive boards in a row

Great team win! I wanted it bad and the win felt great.

Everyone looked good, Sam/Al are seamless starters.

Really good game from Luke. But my point about defensive rebounding stands:

Luke, 7 footer - 3 defensive rebounds in 19 minutes

Banton, guard and 12th man - 4 defensive rebounds in 8 minutes

Luke is quite a good offensive rebounder tho and if he gets you 8+ points and 2-3 offensive boards then he’s giving you what you need.

Doris Burke was embarrassing last night as usual when she calls a Sixers game v Boston. I had to mute it. Just god awful.
