Interesting thought - with how successful Al has been historically (as well as tonight), do we start big if we play them in the playoffs and mirror Al's minutes with Embiid? I think it's a legitimate question, as we're too gimmicky with guarding Embiid when playing small.

I was wondering the same thing.  A rested Al Horford is a pretty great tool against Embiid.   I think Al not starting and having lower minutes really helps for games like these when he needs to show up.

Best win of the year in my book. Undermanned vs the hottest team in the East. Good to knock Philly down a peg. Derrick White was MVP in my book.

Al has a legitimate argument too with his Embiid defense, 5 blocks (!), and 4 big threes.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

Everyone bask in the Sixers fans' agony to this loss! They deserve it after all the smack they talked after last game when they barely won after both the Jays had awful games.

My favourite is one comment saying "Boston's bench is deep".

Said no human ever so far this year

Either we rate our bench really badly or everyone overrates them :police:

Personally I think it’s a mix of both…as fans you would like to have all stars sitting the bench as insurance, but we have one all star sitting the bench at least

Also Hausers contribution has been solid considering he’s getting paid $1m…great value

We attempted 50 threes this game.  57% of our shots were threes.  Unless my mental math is wrong, that means we were 24 for 38 from 2-point range.

Hard choice but went with White because he carried them in the late third and early 4th helping the Cs build that lead. Horford came in around the 6 minute mark I think and helped close it out.

It's kind of amusing looking at our shot chart from the game.  Five JT midrange shots, one Al baseline jumper... and literally everything else was either in the paint or beyond the arc.

wow great win by the shorthanded C's!!!! TPs for everyone

what great games from Al, DWhite, Jrue, Sam...just really moving the ball and letting it find the right guy.
super impressive and fun to watch.

I hate to be that guy... but does this team play better when Brown isn't there?  I feel like the ball movement was so much better tonight then most nights.   Very little hero ball,  we won as a team.

I have a lot of hate for the Sixers from years of fighting them.

Yes they do, though Tatum tried to make up for Brown's absence with some forced offense of his own.
Does he not notice that his shots fall a lot easier within the rhythm of ball movement instead of isolation 3's ?

Huge contributions from Big Al at both ends
