Baton shot is bad

Yeah, it's a big weakness for him...

Very pleasant game to watch on a Saturday evening, makes tomorrow even more enjoyable  :police:

Helps when we shoot 55% and 35% from 3 and they shoot 40% and 28%...but on a SEGABABA can't complain.

NY on Mon should give us a better test in prep for the revenge game against the Sixers on Wed. I've circled that game even though I'm not playing

TPs for all!!

Porzingis had a solid game. 28 mins of play 21/7/3. 9-14 from the field.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Great team win.  All 3 of our stars played well.  Held Toronto to just 39% shooting.

  • Let's Go Celtics!
I am concerned about our lack of size against this team. Doesn’t seem like a good matchup.

I am not so concerned anymore.

Great game. Lots of passing. Lots of moving steady, defensive intensity good all around.

We're a sneaky big team when we need to be. KP/Al/JT/Brown/Jrue (or you can sub with White at the PG spot) is a lineup that can hang with most bigger teams because Al can defend the Embiid's and Jokic's of the league. I think that's the versatility Brad had in mind.
2021 Houston Rockets
PG: Kyrie Irving/Patty Mills/Jalen Brunson
SG: OG Anunoby/Norman Powell/Matisse Thybulle
SF: Gordon Hayward/Demar Derozan
PF: Giannis Antetokounmpo/Robert Covington
C: Kristaps Porzingis/Bobby Portis/James Wiseman

hauser looked really good.

He's playing great. As soon as PPs 3ball comes around the bench will look really good.  I still say then need a 3/4 who can score off the bench.  The Maine kids looked great last night.  Maybe JW can be tat guy by mid-season.

The Toronto wings Barnes/Anunoby/Siakam together shot 13/45 (29 FG%).
Too much of the same I guess. Not enough shooting and creativity.

G Williams and Smart who?

Definitely.  I wasn’t too worried about missing Grant. Would’ve liked to keep him but very replaceable.  Marcus I was both glad to see him go and at the same time concerned about missing his defensive intensity. Jrue is better defensively. And Jrue doesn’t lapse.  And  Jrue’s offensive game is much better.   What a gift to have Jrue  and DWhite in the same backcourt. There’s no let-up in either one.
