He sounds great - hopefully really can stay healthy. Appears to really like the culture here.
What was the line at the end?
He has averaged about 50 games per regular season over 8 seasons. 60 games last season. His track record is not that good. That is why he is likely to be a back up. They will manage him minutes. But if he has not improved his FT shooting, it will be hard to keep him on the floor in any case.
Agreed - I like that he said he's been shooting a ton of FTs, but this can't really be the first time he's made a concerted effort to improve. His 40% last year is just abysmal, though better than Celtics record-holder Eric Montross at 37%. It's hard to say that 60% would be OK, but I don't think anything higher than that is realistic.
