I thought Paul George and Mike Conley said all the right things.  You could see Mazulla rage about  the figured out the Celtics comment by George.  You saw Joe look like he was ready to go Quentin Tarantino style level of violence of Paul for a second.

One think about Devin Carter is he can provide a lot of rim pressure.   Dude has a 42 inch vertical.  I watched a lot of tape and he seems to play D and hustle.    I think his shot could be fixed by adjusting his base of his feet, which looked awkward a lot.  I think this could make preseason interesting.

I hope fans give George a fair shot.   He did not make the trade, nor did he have control of what was sent back.  I blame Bill Chisholm, because Brad had a great trade record before.   Our moves came more about finance once Bill bought the team.   This move was about the finance of the Celtics and less about a basketball decision.

I have to admit, when I saw Devin Carter's highlights from last year, his tenacity on defense, his athleticism at the rim, and his clunky outside shot, I immediately thought:

"This is basically an older version of Hugo."

Queta said he hasn?t spent much time worrying about how Robinson?s addition will affect his role.

That?s a Joe [Mazzulla] thing to figure out, Queta said. I?m just out there welcoming my new teammates with open arms. Mitchell is going to be a great addition for us. I?m extremely happy that I don?t have to go against him any more because he used to get all these rebounds, so it?s going to be good to have him on our side.

I don't think people are giving the Robinson signing enough credit because it got clouded by the JB trade.

This is a double-whammy for us.  It makes the Celts immensely better in the post, which was a bit of a weakness.

And it weakens our toughest opponent (we'll have to see if the Sixers gel or not) in the Knicks. 

It's a little like when the Bucks gave up Jrue and we got him.
