Actually, this turned to be a very interesting ESPN clip.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vyyU_kG1k5wBobby Marks notes Jaylen's bad on/off stats and then says he doesn't care. He knows who Jaylen is. He is a top 10 player in the NBA. Other guests on ESPN Chiney Ogwumike & Danny Green. D Green & B Marks are eye test guys more than stat guys. Chiney loves advanced stats but does not care at all about this one. I agree.
Bobby Marks (around 6min in) also says that Boston is not just receiving phone calls on Jaylen Brown. They are the ones making phone calls and offering Jaylen Brown to other teams.
Chiney had some great remarks before that Bobby Marks report. She said that if there is some sensitivity about Jaylen's twitch remarks then people need to get over it. Stop being so over-sensitive. Whatever he says on twitch ... well, well he shows up on the court he takes care of business. He plays team basketball. He wins. That is what you should care most about. Not his twitch stream. Agreed 100% with Chiney.
Chiney had another point there too. She said "it should take an act of God" to break up that Jaylen & Tatum duo. Again, I agree 100% with Chiney. She said they won a title together. They have been in contention almost every year now. No way do you break up this duo.
Bobby Marks said new owners are wild cards. He mentioned his time in Brooklyn when that Russian owner came in. He wanted a star. He wanted Carmelo Anthony. And he pushed to get him. He got Deron Williams in the end. Anyway, Bobby Marks wasn't talking about BOS' new owners but POR's new owner. That owner may want a major star and may be willing to pay a high price for Jaylen.
